The case for a Mukhriz vs Azizan showdown

$

Recently, Kedah Menteri Besar was criticised heavily by PAS supporters for attending the official launching of the My Beautiful Malaysia campaign by the Minister for Housing and Local Government, Datuk Seri Chor Chee Heung at the Gunung Keriang Recreational Park.

One critic that got the bloggers' attention was the student leader cum PAS supporter facing suspension for participating in Bersih 3.0 and suspected of aggressively kicking a fallen motorbike policeman, Mohd Khalid Ismath.

The son of the former Director of the PAS's controversial Koperasi Kohilal, complained that while the PAS grassroot are tirelessly working to bring down Barisan Nasional, Azizan was promoting BN Youth on TV.

Azizan can be politically naive at times and have been criticised as not funneling public work to PAS cronies. In the middle of last year, criticism reached to a point where Azizan was facing revolt and attempts to topple him from among his state exco members like PAS former exco, Datok Fakhrolrazi and Dato Taulan.

Now rumour is strife that the recent incident could put Azizan to be another possible victim like Dr Nasharuddin to be unceremoniously removed for any hint of cooperation with BN. Fanaticism and politics of hate in PAS is at a new hieight [Read our previous posting here.]

However, despite the barrage of issues facing the PAS Kedah administration and Kuala Lumpur headquarter, the odds is still stack for an Azizan candidacy.

Survey says

In mid-2011, University Utara Malaysia was commissioned to conduct a detailed survey on the Kedah political landscape. The survey was done in three phases and ended by mid 2012.

This is no Merdeka Center or UMCEDEL surveys where sample size is usually being questioned. A random sample ivolved 300 registered voters from each of the 36 state assembly areas, thus making it the largest sampling for any similar survey done..

Just do the maths.

The race, age group and various social indicators were taken into consideration. Excluded are committee members of any political parties.

There were 24 questions in the questionaires to investigate voters perception on the various political issues, overall leadership qualities, performance of current government and down to teething issues facing thoir daily life and their expectation.

One prominent question was "If BN winds Kedah at the 13th general election, who should be the Menteri Besar" and likewise for the case of PAS.

For PAS, Azizan scores the highest with 56% rate of approval with Fahrolrazi at a distance second with 30%. Unless the so-called Tok Guru, Dato Nik Aziz has his menstrual cycle coming, PAS best bet mathematically is still Azizan.

If PAS decided to have a different candidate, it could be disastrous to have a candidate not endorsed by Azizan. That rules out Fakrolrazi and Taulan and raise the possibility of Dato Amiruddin Hamzah.

That only put us personally in a difficult spot because it is the choice between two friends.

Mukhriz at 75%

The survey finding placed the highest score for Mukhriz as MB at 75%.

Left far behind are Dato Dr Jamil Khir, current UMNO Liaison Chief, Dato Ahmad Bashah and last losing BN Menteri Besar, Dato Mahathir Khalid to share the remaining 25%.

With Mukhriz in the formula, BN leads the current PAS government by 55% to PAS's 45%.

The only uncertain lies with Chinese community which responded very cautiously and are non-committal over many questions asked. For that, we like to refer to an old December 2010 posting on the shifting support of the Kedah Chinese business community here.

Perhaps, the survey volunteer did not get their trust.

Mukhriz understand business and should get the respect and trust of the business community better than Tok Lebai Azizan.

Whilst, the Indians are back to the 2004 level support for BN with a compromise agreed with Hindraf.

Royal blessing?

Perhaps it is only a survey.

In the last birthday honours given out in commemuration of the birthday celebration of the Sultan of Kedah, Mukhriz was honoured with the higest honour of Darjah Paduka Seri Setia Sultan Abdul Halim (DHMS) from his Majesty.

This is not to imply that his Majesty the Sultan of Kedah is being referred to give his blessing for  UMNO Kedah's proposed candidate for MB. That would tantamount to confirming the istana's interference in politics and administrative matter.

However, that honour has it's significance in view of the remarks his Majesty had made of the present crop of UMNO Kedah leaders. We won't dishonour his Majesty by revealing what was said, to whom it was said and what occasion is was said.

Lips or can we say ... fingers are sealed. Biar pecah perut tapi jangan pecah mulut. (May the abdomen burst but not the lips). Our sources is safe. No lawsuit or court could force us to reveal.

Something worth pondering is that the only other recepient of this highest honour from the Kedah Sultan that carries the title of Datuk Paduka was only thRoyal Malaysian Air Force chief Jen Tan Sri Rodzali Daud

For Mukhriz, whose career in UMNO politics has not been astounding and his position in the cabinet is only at Deputy Minister level, it means much appreciation, pleasure and hope from his Majesty towards Mukhriz.

Some have already speculated that by that honour, if BN wins, the Sultan's preference (in which the Sultan advise is usually sought) would clearly be Mukhriz.

And Amiruddin is one of Sultan's golfing partner.

Young one

Another part of the survey mentioned that a significant number of voters surveyed wants a new young face. If it remains the same old warlord, BN would lose.

That means the Prime Minister and UMNO President, Dato Najib Tun Abdul Razak would have to totally rule out the like of Det Khalid or Dato Mahathir Khalid. For heaven sake, not the likes of Dato Johari Baharum or Jo Derhaka.

Najib has given the signal that he listens.

In his recent visit to Kedah, he gave a special attention and media gave a special coverage to his event with BN Kedah Youth. An extract of his off-the cuff speech from this blog here reads:

Will it be Mukhriz versus Azizan?

Kedah will be launching it's #Save Kedah campaign on the Febrary 9th this Saturday. By today, BN Kedah will know who has been appointed as Director of Election for Kedah i.e. proposed Menteri Besar.

PM's backing is what the Mukhriz machinery needs to get started in this hostile land of the cah keting, more subtle in it's play but more brutal than Kelantan. Even octagenarian stateman Dr Mahathir was a victim. Now we've written before on the sabotage of desperates here

Many viewed him as a timid politician but most capable candidate to resolve Kedah's mountain of problems from 5 year of a simpleton Tok Lebai adminstration.

Mukhriz is doing well in MITI that he has earn the respect of many of his father's own perennial foe and critics. For all his shortcomings, Mukhriz has the ability to learn and at the same time, maintain his principle and keep his integrity intact. That is a trait that is scarce in today's politics.

Anyone familiar with Mukhriz in his business dealing knows he is quite willing to work his way up and when it is advatageous, he knows when not to be a nice guy and be shrewd.

He is quite capable of taking those claws out of his paws. Never forget that he has one powerful political advantage that will be useful to overcome obstacle and that is the influence of Dr Mahathir.

Whether his father will be fully involved with his campaign, it is not known but his support does wonder. Azizan is quite friendly with Dr Mahathir but naturally, he will not likely get Dr Mahathir to campaign for him.

In the last general election, BN lost Kedah to PAS for refusing to seek his acknowledgement and Kedah voters decided to teach Kedah UMNO a lesson for treating Tun Dr Mahathir badly and deny him a seat in the UMNO's GA as G7 delegate.

The grassroot rejection was obvious that when only about 100 people turned up at a political rally attended by Pak Lah in Kuala Kedah.

In this stiff and trying election, BN will surely need to garner every possible support, including and particularly that of Tun Dr Mahathir, if it is serious to recapture Kedah.

DAP's New Year prank or kiasu psycho?

Happy New Year to all our Chinese friends, including Malays married to Chinese who will be celebrating the momentous occasion with their Chinese side of the family.

Just yesterday, Prime Minister Dato Najib put up a You Tube greetings.

In a blietzkrig, it was attacked by visitors voting in DISLIKES in quick succession that there was a red flag. It means if the You Tube continues to attract more DISLIKES, it will be removed by You Tube. The pro-BN side may have noticed it and alert their friends to press more LIKES. It is in safe territory for now.

We've been around long enough in this game to confidently pinpoint this childish kiasu prank to those Komtar troopers or as some bloggers described as DAPsters.

Earlier, their paymaster was doing another kiasu act to urge Penangites to come to see Psy Gangnam perform at the MCA New Year dinner due Monday in DAP red and anti Lynas green. Psy's presence to perform Gangnam style  would have attracted large crowd to MCA's function. Before this, their "makan busat" attracted 5,000 crowd.

Despite the renewed interest towards MCA, Penang is safely in the bag for DAP. Guan Eng and DAP's behaviour to sabotage the event is indeed unnecessary and unimaginable.

Is it a case Lim Guan Eng's spoilt child prank or a mentally sick kiasu unable to face any kind of competition?

See PM's video below first and lend him a hand by pressing LIKE.

Not because you like or loath him but allow everyone the basic opportunity to wish all Malaysian season greetings. Is he to be denied to do that simple gesture?

Utusan Malaysia published an article on this strange behaviour of DAP Penang government who have been removing Najib's CNY greetings, below:
Ideopolitik 'pelik DAP
Memang sekarang masa pembangkang menidakkan segala kebenaran.

This is not merely limited to removing banners. It represents something bigger.

It puts into question and suspicion of the way forward for Malaysia if all these political deviants and misbehave operators come to power. Will we still practise freedom of the press or freedom of speech or freedom of expression currently still enjoyed although these people claim there is none?

Or vengence and hate will get the better of everyone that the country will turn into chaos and anarchy? Already it is openly heard that Pakatan will do a coup-d'etat ala Arab Spring if the election is deemed as dirty and they are already accusing election to come as dirty and EC as an accomplice.

We are still in the mood to talk of the unthinking public that are easily duped by these foreign funded  instigators and peddlers of politics of hate that is getting the better of a significant portion of the people.

On the other hand is Guan Eng and his DAPsters with their state of mind that is likely in a serious mental issue. Utusan Malaysia article below had an uncanny description of Guan Eng mental attitude.

Memahami ‘Psy-che’ pemimpin DAP

Seorang petugas menurunkan kain rentang yang tertera gambar Perdana Menteri sempena ucapan Selamat Tahun Baharu Cina yang dipasang sekitar Pulau Pinang.
Oleh Khairuddin Mohd. Zin

Di dalam paparan laman sesawang yang sama, Kit Siang sekali lagi memaparkan kajian Ilham Centre yang merumuskan perkara berikut: “...Pas under (state chief) Salleh Man is too weak and has failed to make Pas popular and respected whether in terms of welfare, community and sermons. Pas is seen as DAP’s puppets."

Wajar diingat, Perdana Menteri tidak mengaitkannya dengan pilihan raya, sebaliknya Guan Eng secara jelas mengatakan: “...We will let the people of Penang decide whether they want this project or not," seperti yang dilaporkan oleh sebuah portal pro-pembangkang.
Politics is about governance or specifically which side or person will make or lead a better government?

Realpolitik is about promoting one's preference or criticising rationally one's opponents BUT why do we have to resort to fanaticism and hate?

Both sides has it's strengths and weaknesses. There is also long list of issues for and against each side. There is no absolute angel and devil.

Weigh them and prioritise them. And choose the better one or to sceptics, choice of lesser evil. Why then is the need to resort to such childish prank and pry on others' space? In this environment of openness, one does not need to do so.

The Malaysian public has a way of punishing political parties that misbehave. They despise overzealousness and fanaticism. Is it their wish that one's political party being denied opportunity for power because of one's misbehaviour

Think about it.

Blame Opposition for decline in Press Freedom

$
0
0

The international NGO for press freedom, Reporters sans Frontières (RSF) or Reporters Without Borders gave Malaysia it's worst ranking at 145 on their World Press Freedom Index since the index began in 2002.

According to the only portal reporting this development, Malaysiakini, Malaysia stood at 140 in 2010 and rose to 122 for 2011-2012 and plunged to the current level. a ranking of 145 for 2012 on ranked.

The full Malaysiakini report is not available and is not necessary. Why waste money to subscribe junk news?

After all, one can sense that it is merely another stunt to create the perception of the country is in a state of degradation under Dato Najib as Prime Minister, thus it is time to vote for rebel rousing and anarchist Pakatan "Riot".

Cheap gimmick.

Rise and fall of Index

For the unthinking public or those refusing to think, do realise or observe that the RSF Index chart for Malaysia was rising from 122 in 2004 to 92 in 2006 when propagandist Dato Kalimullah Masyerullah Hassan was in his elements lying for 'laying' Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Whether that makes sense, it another different issue to contend with. But the index slumped the subsequent year of 2007 to 124 and it has been at that level of 120- 145 ever since.

One would have thought that the RSF would consider that the more leeway and freedom now to place it at a better index position than during the time of Tun Dr Mahathir but no ... the index was at 102, 92 and 122 for 2002, 2003 and 2004, respectively.

It means as far as the index is concerned the height of Press Freedom is during the premiership of Dr Mahathir which opposition claim is a draconian regime.

That could only mean that the index had no consistency in it's measurements and it highly possible that the numbers are plucked out of thin air to fulfill a certain agenda.

Foreign back funded

All one need to understand is to see the link between RSF and the opposition interests.

RSF is an Amnesty International sponsored outfit that is inextricably linked Geroge Soros Open Society Institute (OSI) and American based, National Endownment on Democrasy (NED).

These are the foreign groups that has working relationship and funded Bersih, Malaysiakini, Bar Council, SUARAM, and all those so-called local NGOs cooperating together with PKR and Pakatan Rakyat.

All these foreign and local groups are working together to undertake the regime change exposed by Dr Mahathir.

Recently, he mentioned that Anwar Ibrahim have boasted of pursuing a people uprising revolution ala Arab Spring when they lose by using their preemptive accusation of election fraud. That is what Bersih and their so-called clean election agenda is all about.

If they are genuine, they would be sincerely engaging the Election Commission. There have been none since before Bersih 2.0.

Prior to that, there had a single meeting in which they insist in their way as right and all reason given by EC as wrong. Subsequently, they claimed loudly that EC was unwilling to cooperate.

Basically, Bersih just want to propagate the accusation that there are election fraud happening.

See the linkages of all these organisation with RSF below:

Read also the research done by AIDC here, here, and here .

Regime change

Now that we know how RSF's bread is buttered, it should tell us how things will fall in place.

That is how the cookie crumble and that was how Merdeka Center and now their proxy, UMCEDEL payed the role to give the false perception that voters are favouring Pakatan Rakyat.

RSF is merely following the script to show Malaysia is at it's worse prior to the fall of a regime. Hopefully the unthinking public that cannot put things in the wider perspective will swallow these lies and follow them without much thinking.

The RSF index should be deemed as meaningless.

As Bigdogdotcom turned the table on them by arguing here that the state of journalism is in such a state of disarray because of the anti free media practises by opposition leaders, specifically like Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Guan Eng, etc.

Journalist aren't able to ask the right questions for fear of being publicly humiliated and harassed by securities personal. When they are cornered, they burst into anger and vent it on reporters.

And there is this practise of targeting to sue only Utusan Malaysia by DAP and other opposition leaders upon any unfavourable news reported of them. This same legal harassment is also now targeted on  bloggers and Dato Husam Musa of PAS is personally involved in several lawsuits.

If mainstream newspaper is accused of being biased, they are merely biased in terms of commentaries but never on the news report. Face it, commentaries will skew towards media owners leaning. That is an unstated practise everywhere in the world including those so-called free press western countries.

Malaysiakini twisted reporting

In Malaysia, alternatives news portal like Malaysiakini, The Malaysian Insider's, and the various opposition parties publication are lying and spinning their news reports to twist the facts and actual storyline.

Below is one glaring example by Malaysiakini, which yours truly was there witnessing the event:

This scumbag of a reporter actually twisted the words of Dr Mahathir and made a non-issue into an issue.

Throughout his speech, Dr Mahathir spoke at length about on the need to maintain rationality. Although the topic given to him was about Constitution and National Security, he kept his discussion within the his current theme of Malays have to be rational in their political decisions.

Although briefly touching on maintaining peace and stability as essential in the formulation of the Constitution, he viewed the inclusion of immigrant races as necessary because of the inability of the Malays to fill-up the void left in government and commerce when the immigrants and colonial return.

Dr Mahathir would not have been ignorance to the question about provocative question against Ambiga. His answer was basically the Constitution does not allow the removal of anyone's citizenship. However, he added another fact that the Constitution need two third majority to be amended.

However Malaysiakini joint these two mutually exclusive set of fact to be written as title and attracted emotional reactions.

That is twisted reporting.

Sinar Harian spin

The declining state of journalism is not only happening at the online portals run by opposition sympathisers but also daily newspapers.

For instance, Sinar Harian reported that several BN Ministers did not make the mark with MACC.

No details were provided but merely an MACC officials denying or refusing to verify the news report. Basically it was a "no comment" answer.

Despite void of any source of information or most likely they dare not reveal their information and source, Sinar Harian continued to expand the story and secure comments from both sides as though their leading story had any journalistic basis for publication.

Sinar Harian also received a drubbing for giving a frontpage coverage to Dato Husam Musa's lie on oil finding in the midst of Kota Baru town.

In the first place, only Petronas or as a source has any locus standi to any report on oil finding. Husam is deeply involved in the R propaganda to demand oil royalty from the federal government and Petronas. Despite losing his case in the High Court and Court of Appeal, he is still drumming it as an issue for Kelantan..

Sinar Harian was assisting him to propagate a falsestatement that the state of Kelantan can negotiate with other parties to explore oil in which it cannot do so under the various Act related to oil exploration

Any reporter would have known that fact.

Don't tell us that an old hand like Dato Hishamuddin Fikry does not know that. And everyone in the business knows how Hishamuddin secure his funding and money changing hands to reporters and editors for published stories.

These are only few recent glaring examples.

It is enough to discourage many anti-Utusan Malaysia readers among our friends to now refuse to read Harakah, Malaysiakini and the likes too.

So this decline can very much be blamed on the opposition. Given more press freedom, they did not chose to be more professional than mainstream media but equally or not more bias and overzealous to cloud the public from true and fair reporting.

Are you ready for BAD MANNERS? Say yes, if you are DAP.

It is yet another holiday in multi-ethnic Malaysia.

For Chinese New Year, other than the compulsary family dinner to welcome the new lunar year, there will also be those open houses that has become the typical landscape of any Malaysian holidays.

Family, associations and political parties would jump in on the opportunity to touch base with families, friends, party members and voters.

With election looming in the corner, it is only natural Barisan Nasional decided to have one in Penang to touch base with voters and strengthen the resolve of it's supporters to vote in the upcoming general election. So did MCA, Gerakan, SAPP, SUPP and all the Chinese and non-Chinese political parties.

DAP would do the same elsewhere. In the past, DAP leaders have no problem attending the PM's or state Chief Minister's Hari Raya celebration.

If it is a political sin or unlawful to have a Chinese celebration in opposition territory, perhaps there should not be any DAP New Year celebration before this. But in a free and democratic Malaysia, anyone is entitled to organise their seasonal celebration wherever they want and with whomever they want without disruption and disturbance from others.

However, since DAP captured Penang, things are changing. It does not reflect the comfort, security and freedom DAP promises it's supporters in their political rallies.

This change in attitude was ignited by the Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng as he encouraged his supporters to come and sabotage the BN New Year event:

Before attending the New year event at Hian Chiang School near Bayan Lepas on Monday afternoon,  Prime Minister Dato Najib was in Penang a day earlier.

At night, he and his family went for nasi kandar dinner at the popular nasi kandar known locally as Nasi Kandar Beratur for it's long queue.

Despite the large crowd and entourage, everything was fine and peaceful although prior to the Prime Minister's visit, the local Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MPPP) or Penang City Council had removed all the CNY greeting banner.

It was a MPPP big operation supposedly on the instruction of the Chief Minister believed to involved 2 MPPP trucks, 5 motorbikes and a 4-wheel Kembara to scout and clear off all apolitical New Year greeting banner from McCalum Road to Bayan Lepas.

Things became different the the next day.

In his walkabout around the Gurney drive area, a Chinese male threw an exploding firecrackers near the area the Prime Minister was having his meal.

In the afternoon, as Dato Najib was arrived at the gate and entering the Hian Chiang School, a male Chinese threw his polystyrene rice packet at the him but missed to hit an unlucky by stander.

These are still isolated events that could merely be personal anger but increasingly suspected to be part and parcel of attempt to sabotage the PM as advocated through Lim Guan Eng's politics of hate and racism.

As we said in our earlier piece of the cheap attempt by DAPster cybertroopers to embarass the PM, it is DAP operatives at work.

One only need to see how the tried to embarass the PM's speech using false impression created by their video recording.

Off course, it would turn out as though the crowd is calling "No!" when the recorder is merely recording their "No!" exclamation. Was it so?

Hear another recording, below:

The microphone picked-up the majority was still calling Yes for BN.

This is no big deal. It is all political psywar that have minimal bearing. Isn't this all unnecessary?

What is Ubah politics advocating? Rudeness? Ungentlemenly or unlady like conduct?

If one is a DAP supporter, one has no business of going to a BN function. If one decided to go to spy on the event, there is fine but just see and observe. No need to disrupt other people's event.

This is just indication that the politics advocated by opposition is for a coup d'etats like Arab Spring in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, etc.

Dr Mahathir and former IGP, Tan Sri Musa Hassan has already said it loudly that Pakatan Rakyat is moving in that direction and disrespecting the wishes of the people.

This new bad behaviour that is not typical of Penangites did not just limit itself to politics, but beyond.

The Permaisuri Agong was in town and Lim Guan Eng decided to not accept the invitation from BN but was at the airport to greet her majesty.

A Chinese male was seen to be giving obscene gesture to her Majesty's convoy. A policeman warned him and his response was to put in simply as "seditous." If the laws were not repeal, he should have been in the slammer.

Read about the incident, The Unspinners here and the various links.

Penang had been our favourite spot for R&R for many years. But if this is reflective of Penang under DAP, then it is really sad. Penangites are one of the most friendly and fun people around with.

This is just bad manners. No Malaysians should allow this to continue. Punish those with and advocating such behaviours.

Playing the right tune on the Xylophone

Australian Senator Nick Xenophon arrived at the LCC airport on Saturday and was refused entry by immigration. This is one brave move by the government.

However, all the back and forth of exchanges is not sending out the right answer. It took Foreign Minister Dato Anifah Aman to tell it like it is before the other side understand.

Xenophon is a troublemaker and intruding into an area he has no business to be involved in. Thus, Malaysia has every right to deny his entry.

Is that so difficult to tell?

The Bernama report as carried in The Sun as follows:

Detained senator has record of undermining country's harmony

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 16, 2013): Independent Australian Senator Nick Xenophon was detained at the low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) in Sepang near here today, after it was found that he had a record of undermining the country's harmony.

He was nabbed at 6.50am, under Section 8 (3) of the Malaysian Immigration Act, upon arrival on a flight from Melbourne, Australia.

Confirming Xenophon's detention to Bernama, Immigration Department director-general Datuk Alias Ahmad said the senator was in the list of 'undesirables' and barred from entering the country because of the record.

He said Xenophon was merely confined at the immigration's LCCT office, and was not held in a cell or lock-up as claimed by some quarters. He further dismissed claims that Xenophon was denied his rights to meet or communicate with anyone.

"Xenophon was allowed to meet with Australia's High Commissioner Miles Kupa at the conference room at the immigration's LCCT office."

Alias said Kupa also met him over Xenophon's detention and expressed satisfaction with the Malaysian immigration's handling of the case, and that he respected the country's laws.

According to Alias, Xenophon who was reported to be among 50 Australian law-makers who had called for the sodomy charge against Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be dropped in February 2010, was expected to be sent back to Australia tonight.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said Xenophon's detention was not politically motivated, adding that it was the prerogative of the immigration director-general to take such action based on existing provisions in the law.

"As long as the decision is made based on the law...does not make any senator special. As a minister, if I go to London and they do not let me enter and I have to return to Malaysia, it is not necessary for them to give any reason," he told reporters after closing the Jelajah Anak Malaysia programme at Stadium Mini Pancarona here today.

He said the ministry through Wisma Putra was constantly communicating with the Australian High Commission in the case.

In a related matter, Umno Supreme Council member Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said Malaysia did not need any external interference in its affairs, while Malaysian Young Journalists Club president Dzulkarnain Taib said the action against Xenophon was appropriate, describing the Australian senator as an alleged provo cateur in the coming 13th General Election.

On another issue, Hishammuddin said the armed Filipinos who had encroached on Lahad Datu, Sabah would be extradited to their country of origin as soon as possible.

"From intelligence sources, this group is not a militant or terrorist group but supporters of the 'Sulu Sultanate'," he said. – Bernama
Hishamuddin sounds like kissing a keris then apologising and will later go around saying my hands are tight. Why the "was not" and defensiveness? And, passing the buck to his subordinates?

Please put the Lahad Datu incident aside. If we are not lazy, we'll deal with it too.

Be firm.

Troublemaker Xenophon is one of the 50 Australian Senators demanding that his alleged fellow gay, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim not be subjected to trial for his sodomy charges. He wants to interfere in the due process of law in this country.

Then he interfered by supporting the violent Bersih 2.0 and help perpetuate their game of perception against the Election Commission.

Already, indication is openly showing his assistance is useful for these lawbreakers' long term strategy to justify a Tahrir Square-like unlawful coup d'etat in the event they lose the general election. It looks most likely they will lose.

Anarchy and mob rule are security threat to any country. Thus, any country in the world has every right to inspect and deny entry to anyone that can result in such threat to the country.

Just realised he sounded overly cautious and funny or strange?

Need we be reminded that Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had to remove his shoes and undergo check up by Immigration at Los Angelas airport in one of his American visits as Prime Minister.

In the past, American immigration had denied entry to foreign leaders viewed unfavourably to attend United Nation Assembly.

Compare that with missing appointment with Nazri Aziz, Anwar Ibrahim and Ambiga.

These holier-than-thou "orang putih" think they can do it and we have no right to do it to them. "Orang putih" are bigger security risk. They are the biggest merchant of war and misery to the world at large.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported the Australian perspective of the event:

Nick Xenophon in Malaysia
AN AUSTRALIAN senator detained and ordered to be deported by Malaysia as a ''security risk'' has acted as an emissary for Malaysian Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, carrying a letter warning of infringements on democracy to the federal government.

On Saturday the South Australian senator, Nick Xenophon, was detained after being told at Kuala Lumpur airport that there was a technical glitch with his passport and then escorted to an area of holding cells.

Senator Xenophon's detention has caused the cancellation of a visit to Malaysia by a delegation of Australian MPs from all major parties.

Speaking by phone from the airport, Senator Xenophon, an independent, described his detention as ''bizarre''.

''They have told me I am a security risk,'' he said.

In an separate interview with Sky News, he said: ''I was eventually told apologetically by immigration officials that I am on a watchlist, that there are orders from above in terms of security concerns and I have to be deported on the next flight out of here.''

Only hours before Senator Xenophon's arrest, Mr Anwar lashed out at Foreign Minister Bob Carr in an interview with Fairfax Media, revealing he asked in the letter for Australia to speak out about Malaysia's rigged political system.

Mr Anwar said his warnings of Malaysia's rigged political system had fallen on deaf ears.

Mr Anwar, who heads a three-party opposition alliance, said Senator Carr was ''ill-advised or clearly lacks an understanding'' of what is happening in Malaysia when he refused to act on the letter sent late last year asking for Australia's help.

Senator Carr on Saturday raised Australia's concerns with the Malaysian government about Senator Xenophon's detention.

''Senator Xenophon's detention is a surprising and disappointing act from a country with which Australia routinely maintains strong diplomatic relations,'' Senator Carr said.

Senator Carr said Australia's high commissioner in Kuala Lumpur, who had made direct contact with Senator Xenophon, was ''seeking an explanation from Malaysian authorities regarding the reasons for this detention''.

He said preliminary reports indicated Senator Xenophon had been held under Malaysia's national security laws.

Senator Xenophon was expected to leave Kuala Lumpur on a flight to Melbourne in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In a statement issued after Senator Xenophon's arrest, Mr Anwar condemned the Malaysian government's accusations against Senator Xenophon. ''Prime Minister Najib Razak has no right to treat visitors as enemies of the state merely because they are critical of his UMNO-led administration,'' he said.

''This act of detention and proposed deportation for partisan political reasons is therefore a gross abuse of power.''

Senator Xenophon was in Malaysia leading a bipartisan visit of Australian politicians for talks with the country's opposition party about electoral systems. The other MPs, Liberal Mal Washer, Nationals senator John Williams and ALP MP Steve Georganas were due to fly out on Monday, but have cancelled the visit.

They were to have met Mr Anwar, as well as Malaysia's minister in charge of parliamentary affairs, Mohammed Nazri, and members of the group Bersih, a coalition campaigning for fair Elections.

''It seems that a member of the Australian Parliament is now not allowed into Malaysia because I am a supposed security risk,'' Senator Xenophon said.

''I just wanted to arrive here quietly and do our work. I didn't ask to be deported, believe me.''

In the interview that preceded Senator Xenophon's arrest, Mr Anwar lashed out at the Gillard government over its failure to speak out about widespread election fraud ahead of his country's fiercely fought election.

Mr Anwar told Fairfax Media it is hypocritical of Australia to speak out about democracy in other countries such as Afghanistan but not support Malaysia in what he described as its dirtiest ever campaign.

After a meeting and receiving the letter from Mr Anwar, Senator Carr told the ABC that Malaysia's elections are a matter for the Malaysian people.

''It's very hard for Australia to do anything about how they're run, as hard as it would be for Malaysia or another government to have a say in how Australian elections are run… we're not the election authority for Malaysia,'' Senator Carr said.

Senator Xenophon said he had visited Malaysia previously at the invitation of Mr Anwar, participating in the elections observer group last year.

''We found there are some serious systemic concerns about the Malaysian elections that are coming up. They are due to be called any day,'' he said.

Analysts say Mr Anwar's opposition has a chance of ousting the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition that has ruled Malaysia for half a century since its independence from Britain.

Prime Minister Najib Razak must call the election within weeks, but parties have been campaigning for months.

Since Malaysia have diplomatic relationship with Australia, they try to test the relationship by creating uproar over this incidence.

To repeat again, Xenophone interfered in our electoral process at the request of the opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim. The Austraian government position is not to be involved and Anwar is lashing at the Australian government's independent position and wants them to believe his side of the story.

Did one notice Xenophon's prejudging the EC?

The Malaysian Insider's reported EC's response and side of the story albeit from their own bias angle. Xenophon never heard the EC's side of teh story and never intended to do so but made his bias opinion openly heard.

EC defends Xenophon expulsion, says unfair to doubt Election 2013

PETALING JAYA, Feb 16 — The Election Commission (EC) defended today Australian Senator Nick Xenophon’s deportation from Malaysia, saying that immigration authorities were merely performing their duty.

EC deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar also said that it was unjust to judge the fairness of Election 2013 based on Xenophon’s expulsion.

“I think it’s an insult to the intelligence of Malaysians,” Wan Ahmad told reporters here today.

“They don’t have to rely on the opinion of this one fellow to make a conclusion,” he said.

Xenophon was detained at the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal in Sepang this morning and will be deported later tonight.

Xenophon had planned to meet Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, de facto law minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz and EC officials next week to discuss the country’s electoral system, according to Anwar’s chief of staff, Ibrahim Yaacob.

Electoral reform group Bersih 2.0 co-chair Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan has lambasted Xenophon’s deportation as a move that showed the government’s “paranoia” about the coming national polls.

Several other Twitter users joined Ambiga in raining scorn on the government’s decision, with the subject spawning a hashtag #xenophon.

But Wan Ahmad stressed that there was nothing to hide as Malaysians were free to observe Election 2013.

Immigration Department director-general Datuk Alias Ahmad said earlier today that Xenophon was deported because the senator had made statements that allegedly tarnished Malaysia’s image.

Alias highlighted Xenophon’s remarks about the Malaysian government being “authoritarian” in handling last April’s Bersih 3.0 rally for free and fair elections.

Xenophon, who had observed the mass protest, noted that the police had fired tear gas and chemical-laced water in what had been a largely peaceful protest.

Alias added that the Australian senator was barred from entering Malaysia under the Immigration Act 8(3).

Ibrahim said today that other Australian MPs and senators, who were due to arrive here, have cancelled their plans.

Wan Ahmad, however, said that the EC was willing to meet foreigners who wished to monitor the coming Election 2013 as long as they contacted the EC directly.

“I’ve never received his (Xenophon’s) call. The EC chairman also did not receive any call,” said Wan Ahmad.

He added that Xenophon had made an appointment with a senior EC official through a third party, but did not specify further.

Wan Ahmad also questioned Xenophon’s intention in coming here, saying: “We don’t know what (is) the agenda in his mind.”

He urged foreigners not to disparage Malaysia’s democratic process as it was based on Malaysian law, not Australian or European law.

“I think we have laws in this country. If people don’t respect the laws, I think the majority of the rakyat will not like it,” said Wan Ahmad.

Australia’s Foreign Ministry has expressed its disappointment with Xenophon’s detention.

News of Xenophon’s detention has also been picked up by international press.

“I am effectively a prisoner here,” he was quoted as saying in the Australian newspaper The Sunday Mail.

The paper reported the Australian lawmaker managed to slip through a phone call when he was left unattended in the interrogation room.

“I’m being held in an area with all these holding cells which are full of women. They have basically told me I am an enemy of the state. They are trying to get me on the next plane out of here and back home.

“I was even meeting members of the government, I mean, the whole situation is ridiculous, we are meant to be the closest of friends with Malaysia,” he told the paper.

“We are meant to be having a people swap deal on asylum seekers but so far it looks like the only person being swapped is me,” he was quoted as saying.

The paper also reported Xenophon as saying he believed a recent piece he had written for Fairfax newspapers last month, which was critical of human rights here, may be a reason for the authorities to refuse him entry.

Xenophon came to Malaysia last April as an election observer after being invited by Anwar.

The Australian senator was part of a seven-member international team of election observers who later met Nazri.

Despite being invited by Anwar, the group insisted they were independent, claiming that their expenses for the fact-finding mission were borne by themselves or their respective governments.

Xenophon had said that fundamental concerns regarding Malaysia’s electoral roll, campaign period, media access and other issues pertaining to electoral reforms were raised with Nazri.

The senator was portrayed by local English daily the News Straits Times (NST) last year as anti-Islam in an article that falsely quoted him as calling Islam a “criminal organisation” during his 2009 speech in Australia’s Parliament.

Xenophon later said he would sue the NST after the newspaper admitted its mistake.
TMI is an opposition friendly news portal and is a key player in perpetuating the opposition propaganda against EC. Their final touch in the report is seeking sympathy for Xenophan.

Australia is not happy with this deportation.

But, did they bother to realise that Xenophon did not hear out EC's side of the story and is only bias in favour of Anwar and the bigau (dumb) Ambiga? .

Foreign Minister Bob Carr comment is only given scanty coverage by TMI. He was the one that recomended that the Australian government do not entertain the interference agenda pushed by Xenophon.

The Sydney Morning Herald report, below:

Carr: Xenophon's Malaysian detention surprising and disappointing

February 16
Foreign Minister Bob Carr says Malaysia's detention of independent senator Nick Xenophon is a surprising and disappointing act.

Senator Carr said Australian officials in Kuala Lumpur were seeking the immediate release of Senator Xenophon, who was detained and held pending deportation when he entered the country on Saturday morning.

As well, Australian officials have raised Senator Xenophon's plight at the highest level of the Malaysian government.

Senator Xenophon, who was participating in an unofficial delegation of Australian MPs, said he was told he was a security threat and would be deported.

Senator Carr said preliminary reports indicated Senator Xenophon had been held under Malaysia's national security laws.

"Our High Commissioner Miles Kupa has now made direct contact with Senator Xenophon at the airport and is seeking his release," he said in a statement.

He said Mr Kupa was also urgently pursuing an explanation from Malaysian authorities regarding the reasons for this detention.

"Australia's concerns have been raised with Malaysia's foreign minister and the minister for home affairs and the Malaysian high commissioner to Australia. Their support is requested in securing Senator Xenophon's swift release from custody," he said.

"Senator Xenophon's detention is a surprising and disappointing act from a country with which Australia routinely maintains strong diplomatic relations."

The delegation, including Senator Xenophon, Liberal Mal Washer, Nationals Senator John Williams and ALP MP Steve Georganas, have now called off their visit to Malaysia.

They were to have met opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, as well as Malaysia's minister in charge of parliamentary affairs, Mohammed Nazri, and members of the group Bersih, the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections.

Senator Xenophon has raised concerns about the probity of the upcoming Malaysian election.

AAP
Just cause we have diplomatic relationship, it does not mean you can interfere in our affairs and we cannot implement our law and apply it on Australians. Go on with their surprise and disappointment. How do they like if we sponsor and help campaign for oppositions to their parties?

As though, we are deaf, now we have their Prime Minister speaking. Reuters reported below:
Australia pursues Malaysian explanation for senator's deportation

(Reuters) - Australia is seeking further explanation from Malaysia about why an Australian senator, who went to politically sensitive Malaysia to discuss electoral reform, was denied entry and deported, Prime Minister Julia Gillard said on Sunday.

Malaysia refused entry on Saturday to independent Senator Nick Xenophon, with an immigration official saying the decision was made because he had participated in an illegal street rally for electoral reform in the Southeast Asian country last year.

The Malaysian government is bracing for an election within months that is expected to be the closest in the former British colony's history.

"We made immediate and strenuous representations on his behalf, not only in relation to him being detained, but into him being allowed to be in Malaysia," Gillard told reporters in Melbourne, where Xenophon had arrived earlier on Sunday.

"Clearly we didn't succeed. We will continue to pursue this issue with the Malaysian government."

Xenophon was part of an unofficial delegation seeking to discuss the coming elections with members of the Malaysian government, opposition, judiciary and election commission. The other three members of the delegation canceled their trip after Xenophon was detained on arrival in Kuala Lumpur.

He said he had been told he had been detained because he was considered "a security risk". The Malaysian government said he had broken the law on a previous visit.

Xenophon was invited to Malaysia last year by opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim and observed a major street rally for electoral reform in April that ended in violence. He later criticized the government's handling of the rally.

Anwar, a former deputy prime minister, wrote on his blog on Saturday that Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak should not treat visitors as "enemies of the state" because they had criticized the ruling United Malays National Organisation.

"While it is true that senator Xenophon has raised concerns about the probity of our coming general elections, he has neither violated any written law nor conducted himself in a manner which may be constituted as a threat to our society," Anwar said.

Razak must call the election by the end of April and the opposition holds a good chance of toppling UMNO, the anchor of a Barisan Nasional coalition government, after 56 years in power.

That prospect is unnerving some government officials, emboldening the opposition and raising risks for investors.

Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr said he had contacted his Malaysian counterpart, Anifah Aman, over Xenophon's deportation but did not think ties would suffer.

"He said Malaysia took strong objection to foreigners interfering in their election campaign," Carr told reporters.

Australia and Malaysia have had a sometimes rocky diplomatic relationship. The two countries clashed 20 years ago when former Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating called former Malaysian leader Mahathir Mohamad "recalcitrant" for boycotting the 1993 Asia-Pacific economic forum. - Reuters
Something wrong with this country.

The Prime Minister wants to pursue an answer but the same report say the Foreign Minister already said what our Foreign Minister told him forthrightly that your people are participating and helping Anwar political campaign.

The issues Anwar raised on alleged electoral fraud is not the issue but a mere political campaign or propaganda.

Be reminded that the Australian government had taken a stand of non interference .

Conveniently, Reuters only gave a small space to Anifah Aman.  They did not get his comment but quoted him via a third party. But that is the crux of the issue.

Xenophon is campaigning for Anwar just like Reuter's report gave to much space to Anwar for an issue that is not directly linked to him.

Good answer Anifah.  Tell it like it is. Firm and clear.

If he had come from Johor or have family link to some Johor nobleman, he would have been a contender to be the future Prime Minister.

Perhaps, sons of nobleman are not taught to speak so directly and honestly. Too many things to consider and webs to untangled. It tightens one's hands and makes it difficult to speak clearly and truthfully.

Update:

O ye! Sons of noblemen ... It is not too late for thee to learn.

Xenophon blowing Anwar's "tune"

Malaysia found a supporter in an Australian newspaper's foreign editor, Greg Sheridan to lambast Australian Senator Nick Xenophon biasness.

He described Xenophon's call for the Australian government to monitor the upcoming Malaysian general  election as, to quote from Bernama report "stupid and impractical".

Read the Bernama report below:

MELBOURNE: One of Australia’s senior commentators has taken maverick independent senator Nick Xenophon to task for his "foolish or cynically self-promoting" episode in Malaysia at the weekend.

The Australian newspaper’s foreign editor Greg Sheridan said Xenophon’s call for the Australian government to monitor the forthcoming Malaysian elections was "stupid and impractical".

Sheridan also accused Xenophon of "campaigning for just one side of Malaysian politics -- the opposition".

Sheridan said Foreign Minister Bob Carr was right to make his response to Xenophon's deportation as low key as possible and to agree with his Malaysian counterpart that the issue would not affect relations between the two countries.

"Carr should take no further action on the matter, nor is he likely to," he said.

"They (Malaysia) should either have told Xenophon in advance he was not welcome or they should have let his visit pass unnoticed.

"However, if anything, having an argument with an interfering Australian politician will be of some small electoral advantage to the ruling coalition.

"He might reflect on the fact the side he supports contains as perhaps its strongest element the most extreme Islamist party in mainstream Southeast Asian politics.

"Xenophon wants the Australian government to send electoral monitors to the forthcoming Malaysian elections. This idea is stupid and impractical," Sheridan said.

Citing electoral problems in Vietnam and Cambodia, Sheridan said Malaysia "on any measure is one of the most democratic and freewheeling nations in Southeast Asia.

"Its elections are certainly not perfect, but they are better than in most parts of the world.

"Indeed, its very openness allows people such as Xenophon to grandstand there." -BERNAMA-
Xenophon can be described as an undesirable immigrant and since Anwar said his status is unoffocial, thus is not traveling on diplomatic status, it further justification to invoke the Immigration act and ignore his to be applied:
Immigration Act 8(3) ... bars “any person who is a member of or affiliated with any organisation entertaining or teaching disbelief in or opposition to established government” or/and “any person who, in consequence of information received from any source deemed by the Minister to be reliable, or from any government, through official or diplomatic channels, is deemed by the Minister to be an undesirable immigrant.”
Xenophon is not here in the capacity of representing the Australian government or even any organisation. So there is no issue on sending back a diplomat.

He is now back in Australia and  adamant that he had not done anything wrong. Perhaps he is putting a brave face to cover the embarassment. See this report from an Adelaide website herewith his face looking like an unhappy convict, below:
Xenophon Not Happy With Carr

Independent Senator Nick Xenophon has lashed out at the Gillard Government's response to his weekend deportation from Malaysia.

The South Australian MP was kicked out of the country for his support of pro-deomcracy reforms in Malaysia.

Senator Xenophon has criticised Foreign Minister Bob Carr for suggesting his trip was a "low key unofficial visit".

"I just think it's just a little bit cute for the foreign minister to protray this as potentially some form of interference. I asked Bob Carr, and I've got a lot of time for him, he's a man of tremendous intellect but I think in this case he's on the wrong side of history."

"I'm being treated as though I have committed something that under the immigration act put me under the category of overthrowing the government or something along those lines... that is something I reject absolutely."

Australian Prime Minister is demanding answers for his deportation and they have already got it through the communication between the Foreign Ministers.

Before making any further remark, she should recall that in November 2012, Foreign Minister Senator Bob Carr rejected request from Anwar to interfere. Refer to the November 21, 2012 Bernama report published in The Star here.

An article in relation to this issue from The Choice here dated November described the opposition and Bersih's international supoporters are dwindling fast. It is reproduced  below:
“No Mate!” Aussie Foreign Minister Rejects Anwar’s Latest Election Stunt

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time. Earlier this month Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wrote to Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr asking him to ensure free and fair elections in this country.

Anwar's proposal was for Australia to commit to an election observer mission, with or without a request by our Government. And given that Anwar is always looking for his next headline, he was surely hoping that Carr would say something in response that might embarrass our Government.

But Carr was never going to be sucked into Anwar's little games. The veteran politician, who is married to a prominent Malaysian-born businesswoman, is more in tune with the politics of this region than any Australian politician in the last 20 years.

He knows the electoral reforms that have taken place here. He knows that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is a man he can talk to (they met at the start of the month). And as he told the Australian Senate in October, he also knows that GE12 was free enough for the Government to "lose its two-thirds majority in the parliament". Bob Carr is no ignorant mat salleh.

So it's unsurprising that Carr didn't just ignore Anwar's letter, he virtually tossed it in the bin.

Speaking on Australia's ABC radio Wednesday, Mr Carr made it clear that it would be inappropriate for Australia to interfere with Malaysia's elections just as it would be "for Malaysia or another government to have a say in how Australian elections are run". Indeed.

Pressed on the issue of Australia "helping" us run our elections he snapped back: "What help are you proposing we provide? Do you want an amphibious landing on the east coast of Malaysia?"

Mr Carr's rejection of Anwar's letter couldn't have been more emphatic if he had set fire to it on his desk.

The fact is the Opposition and Bersih's crowd of international friends is dwindling fast. This isn't because they don't care anymore, but because they are no longer taken in by the sob story about "oppressive" Malaysia. They can see that things have moved on.

Even Bersih's Australian friend Senator Nick Xenophon, the man who boosted his career Down Under with his tale of being tear-gassed at Bersih 3.0, is now getting cold feet.

When Bersih co-founder Dato' Ambiga Sreenevasan arrived in Australia in September, she expected Xenophon to announce he would be putting together an election observer mission to Malaysia, whether Putrajaya liked it or not. But Xenophon publicly snubbed her by not only refusing to come here for GE13, but by simply deferring the matter to Bob Carr in the Senate. Bersih's Australian friends have all but vanished.

Meanwhile Carr is personally a supporter of the Malaysia Solution for dealing with Indian Ocean asylum seekers, but his Government has opted for far more controversial solution for boat people, which is to fly them to the Pacific Island of Nauru for off-shore processing at a makeshift tent city in the rain forest.

This week that detention camp drew stinging criticism from Amnesty International which was granted permission to inspect the site.

Amnesty's Dr Graham Thom described the camp as "completely unacceptable". He told of cramped conditions with up to 14 men living in a single tent. He said the tents leak, leading to skin conditions arising from sleeping on wet bedding.

This is hugely embarrassing for Australia, given that one of the reasons for rejecting the Malaysia Solution was concern over the way we might treat refugees. Australia's option, designed to prevent refugees from stepping on Australian soil at all costs, is clearly failing.

Ultimately Carr will be hoping he can revisit the Malaysia Solution as the best way of breaking the business model of people smugglers.

Until then Australia would do well to get its own house in order before making judgements about other nations.
Xenophon should have remain in Australia.

It only proves he is only playing to Anwar Ibrahim's tune to discredit the Election Commission and pre-emptive move to  accuse the upcoming general election to be marred with fraud before the election even commenced.

Perhaps, it could be more than that. He could be Anwar's gay lover blowing on his bended "tone", if you know what I mean?

Anwar's last straw

The current play to use the military as political issue was started by the opposition and certain have-been faction in UMNO prior to the 2007 Ijok by-election.

It is still fresh in the public psyche that it arise from the murder of Mongolian call girl, Altantunya Shaaribu. She had a tryst with Defense Analyst and lecturer, Razak Baginda.

Razak had a short stinct as Najib's part time speech writer and was involved in the submarine project. Consequently, opposition created stories that Razak was taking bribe for himself and UMNO as services fee for Perimekar.

It did not stopped there but stretched into the accusation of murder of Altantunya by Razak, Dato Najib and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah in which it was committed by two UTK men.

The issues had died down but since 2010, PKR tried to revive it via SUARAM using their complain and investigation by the French court. The lies by SUARAM and various myth has since been debunked.

Although there are several attempt to revive it, the issues are considered dead. However, Anwar has not given up.

He is now taking it beyond Scorpene and Altantunya but into a bigger millitary issues. With dwindling audience at ceramah, issues debunked, and faced with a BN on the offensive, it could be his last straw.

By the look of things, Anwar is using the military card beyond creating issue for votes but act of treason into the realm of national security and coup d 'etat.

Four "Generals"

Last Saturday, Anwar was present in the Ulu Klang area for ceramah. He brought along four "generals" in his attempt to woe the military votes.

MINDEF is situated at the end of Jalan Semarak (then called Jalan Gurney) near Kg Dato Keramat and naturally, there are many servicemen or ex-servicemen living in the area. There is also Camp Wardieben in Setapak.

Although there are proportion of PAS voters among low level police and servicemen, the majority and  higher level officers are usually pro to the present government of Barisan Nasional. So it is considered a major coup for Anwar to be able to showcase the four former senior military officers.

After a couple of days of asking around friends with knowledge on the going-ons of the military and senior military officers, it is not quite a coup for Anwar.

For instance, Dato Abdul Hadi Al Khattab that is promoted as Brig. General (R) is not allowed to carry that title.

He had been dishonourably dismissed for involvement in the sales of old F-5E engines and been known to abuse his position as Panglima Logistik di Markas Logistik Udara

Read the revelation by former millitarymen Askar Setia here.

In his last postition, Lt General (B) Abdul Ghafir Abdul Hamid was the Deputy Army Chief. As the second in command for the armed forces, he was thought to be a good catch for Anwar.

During the press conference to announce his joining of PKR, Ghafir was promoted for voicing out malpractices and the poor quality of millitary purchases.

For that, Defense Minister, Dato Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi responded by the question, Apakah standard Abdul Ghafir?

In his last position, Ghafir was in an administrative position and also responsible for providing the military specifications in the BQ for any purchases. If he is to raise about the low quality of purchases, the finger only points back to him. It in unfair of him to raise it after he has retired.

Ghafir raised about staff welfare in his recent ceramah. [Read Suara Keadilan here]. The compulsive liar Rafizi also promised an idiotic offer to increase pension by 5% without understanding the real financial problem facing our servicemen. [Read Suara Keadilan here]

But why now when he was in service, Ghafir was known to the lower officers as only concern of his own position and perk.

The story of Ghafir goes way back when Najib was Defense Minister and Anwar was Finance Minister. As one former high military officer said, Ghafir received the displeasure of Najib when he by-passed him and dealt direct with Ministry of Finance officials.

The retired officer had told Ghafir recently to remind his friend, Anwar that it was him who introduce the practise of direct negotiation in military purchase. Ghafir did not respond.

If there had been a good catch and ones earning the respect of their fellow servicemen, it would have been Tuan Haji Imran, the Navy's First Admiral (R) and Dato Najmi Ahmad, Director of Kor Agama Tentera (KAGAT) .

There are sources that claimed Imran took early retirement due to some Lumut shipbuilding contract. [See Sel13.com here].

There are claims that he left because he lost out for the position of Navy Chief. However, not much is said of it within the military circle. The Navy Chief position was never meant for him because he did not have seamanship experience.

Imran has always had religious inclination and particularly after his two daughters died in a car accident some years back. It seemed the accident affected him psychologically and his work.

PAS is seen as a natural political abode for Imran. His name is being bandied around to take on Perak Menteri Besar Dato Dr Zambery Kadir for Pangkor or wherever seat he will be contesting. Surprisingly, he has succumbed to the PAS bad politics of mocking Zambery's Honorary Admiral given to him by the Navy.

While, Brig. Gen. (R) Najmi Ahmad is the younger brother of Dato Ahmad Nakhaie, the former PAS's Vice President that left PAS to join UMNO. Nakhaie played a major role in Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's Islam Hadari and this benefited Najmi.

There are several reasons believed to have made him join Pakatan Rakyat. A close friend of Najmi said he is attracted to PAS offer to contest in Kedah.

One source claimed that there are personal issues between him as KAGAT Director (1995-2005) and his successor Director, Major Gen. (R) Dato Dr Jamil Khir (2005-2008).

The former high army official happen to be his former boss. He did not comment on those talks but basically described him as "orang yang terlalu ikut syariah." He could be inferring that Najmi has a judgemental temperament which is typical of PAS.

Coup d'etats

Informative blog Gelagat Anwar here said Anwar was not happy with Saturday night's do. He is looking to reconsider whether their presence added more political punch. For one, their public discussion of "secret" military material may not be accepted publicly. [Read here as taken from The Mole]

Perhaps, Anwar is sizing up their effectiveness in his other planned endeavour. It is already been said openly by Tun Dr Mahathir here and former Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Musa Hassan here of the possibilities of Anwar seeking to do a coup d'etat after the election.

In mid 2012, Dr Mahathir mentioned the involvement of foreign hands in undertaking a regime change in Malaysia. Ever since, much expose had been done openly of Anwar's link with foreign powers and agencies. It is now openly discussed in mainstream media.

Anwar has not denied these allegations. Thus he is left with no other option but to just pursue it. And, Bersih and their call for cleaner election have long been said to be merely an excuse to justify a street revolution.

He has become bolder and in his recent speech at the Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat on January 12th at Stadium Merdeka, he made the threat openly. Hear below his threat at 17:40, below:

Sahabat Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) under Badrul Shahrin (or Chegu bard) have announced a road show as below:

There is indication that Chegu Bad with SAMM and guided by Hishamuddin Rais may have prepared for this possibility.

For instance, this presentation and discussion led by Fahmi Reza as organised at Malaysiakini office in Bangsar in July 2011 indicate there have been ample discussion and planning towards this.

At around that time, lawyer, activist and professional "agitator" Harris Ibrahim wrote in his blog of this possibility to warm-up and test the public response. He then views it as "ends justify the means" to undertake the risky, and treasonous act.

Their mind looks to be made up already. If they lose, Pakatan and their satellite NGOs are determined to accuse the Election Commission as fraudulent.

In this respect, the role of Nick Xenophon is to gather support from abroad to maintain the perception of election fraud so as to justify a Tahrir-square like Malaysia Spring revolution to bring down the government through a people power uprising on the street.

The last such successful people uprising eeffort in this region was done by Corazon Aquino to overthrow Ferdinand Marcos in the Phillipines in 1986.  The widely held belief was that Aquino had won the election but was denied by the widespread election fraud.

Any revolution needs financial support and military defection. It was the support of Jewish banker to bankroll the French revolution to safeguard their interest that enable it's success.

In the Phillipines, the defection to leave the Marcos regime by Defense Minister Juan Ponce Enrile and Deputy Chief of Staff, Fidel Ramos on February 22, 1986 to support people power that was the turn of event for Aquino.

Enrile and Ramos barricade themselves in the Defense Ministry headquarters in Manila, along with a small group of sympathetic troops.[Read here]

Is Anwar looking for generals with sympathetic troops to back him?

Other than these four "generals", there are other possibile sympathisers like Mind No Evil blog writer, Brig General (R) Arshad Raji who was the commanding officer for the Cambodian mission. However, our army are not programmed for coup d'etat and run the civilian government.

Lt Kolenel (R) Rosli Gani is being bandied around to be the Malay candidate for MB should DAP manege to takeover Negeri Sembilan. [Read Tauke Ikan here]

Can these retired military personalities provide the military support for the success of Anwars post-election Malaysia Spring? Perhaps, what is pondering in Anwar's mind is can they be loyal to him and not to their PAS and DAP parties?

Incidents

When the Lahad Datu intrusion by some 100 para military soldiers from Sulu was out in the open on Saturday, many thought that it could be an attempt by Anwar to embarass the on-going Royal Commission of Inquiry on illegal immigration.

Although the opposition made an issue of our defense and was distributing the above doctored picture from the MNLF website, some viewed it as a diversion from the increasing negative publicity Anwar is getting in Sabah.

Since Dr Mahathir openly accused him since he was instrumental in the Sabah manouvre to oust Tun Datu Mustapha, Tan Sri Pairin kitingan's PBS government and delegate votes to oust Tun Ghaffar in a blitzkrief move, his ceramah crowd in Sabah have been dwindling.

He also made a folly of himself to receive the Hoguon Siaou honour given by some PKR Kadazan. [Read Jalil A Hamid here]

To be fair to the military, our sources said the armed Moro fighters trickled in by boat and is difficult to detect by merely radar. It is made more difficult to identify between fishermen boat and their vessels under a radar.

When it was detected by Thursday or Friday, the military could have blown them away but government was reluctant to risk the peace agreement made between MILF and Phillipines government.

The ploy to claim and seek acknowledgement as Sulu royal army was a clever ploy but it was not too long that the link between Nur Misuari and his MNLF organisation and the intrusion. The Phillipines Star report refers here and the extract below:

MANILA, Philippines - The more than 100 fully armed Filipinos holed up since Wednesday in a remote coastal town in Sabah were on a mission to press the claim of the Sultanate of Sulu on Sabah, an official of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) said yesterday.
“They went there because they wanted to go back to their homeland Sabah, which is part of the Sultanate of Sulu,” said Habib Mujahab Hashim, MNLF central committee member and chairman of the Islamic Command Council.
“However, they were rounded up by the Malaysian security forces because close to 100 of them were armed,” Hashim said, citing reports he received from the field.
He said there were more than 200 Filipino Muslims involved in the standoff. He stressed the armed men were not detained but were merely invited for questioning.
He said the group was sent back to Tawi-Tawi “after hours of negotiation.” It was not clear as of press time if the group had indeed left the secluded coastal village of Lahad Datu some 500 kilometers from Kota Kinabalu.
A ranking military official said MNLF chairman Nur Misuari orchestrated the standoff to attract the attention of the Philippine government and the international community.
“It has something to do with Misuari’s continuing claim of Sabah being part of the Philippines. Misuari just wants to show off. The MNLF may have forged a peace agreement with the government but Misuari has not given up on his claim of Sabah,” the military official who declined to be named said.
He said the so-called Royal Sultanate Army began to recruit members in the early 2000s.
“The following years they never gave the Philippine government any problem until this standoff in Sabah. The Royal Sulu Sultanate Army has been behaving well since then, until they went to Lahad Datu and declared they have the right to stay in Sabah,” the source said.
The source also linked the Sabah standoff to MNLF’s attacks on Abu Sayyaf strongholds in Patikul, Sulu.
The idea of a Sulu Sultanate was a hoax according to The Star's Phillip Golangai. [Read here.]
When it was announced by Dato Najib of the peace agreement between MILF and Phillipines government in October 2012, Anwar had met Nur Misuari. Anwar was hatching a plan to sabotage. [Read Jailani here.]
The blog MrKinabaluBoy here, which we believed to be linked to quite a highly informative source, exposed of Anwar's collaboration with his friend, Joesph Estrada and Nur Misuari. The intention was to gain attention to Malaysia and create chaos.

As President, Estrada had ordered the bombing of MILF camp in 2000. [Read here]

In the meanwhile in Sothern Thailand, a military base was attacked by 50 Muslim separatist movement. Read Asscoated Press report dated February 10th, below:

Five Soldiers Killed in Southern Thailand

PATTANI, Thailand—Suspected militants killed five soldiers and wounded five others in two roadside attacks Sunday in Thailand's insurgency-plagued southern provinces, police said.
Earlier

In one of the attacks, insurgents detonated a car bomb on a road in Raman district in Yala province as a truck carrying six soldiers passed by early Sunday, Police Maj. Torphan Pusanthia said.

The militants then opened fire on the soldiers, killing five of them, and took away the dead soldiers' rifles, he said. One wounded soldier was rushed to a hospital.

The six soldiers were on their way to guard a group of local farmers on their way to work.

In the other attack, insurgents set off a bomb on a road in Ra Ngae district in Narathiwat province and wounded four soldiers, Police Col. Jiradet Phrasawang said.

He said the insurgents hid an improvised bomb under the road surface and detonated it as a pickup truck carrying the soldiers passed by.

More than 5,000 people have been killed in Thailand's three southernmost provinces since an Islamic insurgency erupted in 2004.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said Sunday that the government would examine whether curfews are needed in the restive south, especially in the areas where attacks frequently occur.

"Authorities are looking into details," Ms. Yingluck told reporters. "Any areas that are peaceful, we don't want to announce curfews, but any areas that remain problematic, we will look at it on a case-by-case basis."

Officials from security agencies are scheduled to meet Friday to discuss safety measures for the southernmost provinces.

Teachers as well as security officials have been targeted as government representatives by the insurgents, who have made no public pronouncements but are thought to be fighting for an independent Muslim state. The area used to be an Islamic sultanate until it was annexed by Thailand in the early 20th century.

Muslims in Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and part of Songkhla provinces have long complained of discrimination by the Buddhist-dominated central government.
It can be confidently claimed that Anwar has develop relationship with the southern Thai separatist fighters.

In a conversation with Dato Eskay of Dato T video revelation, he claimed of introducing Anwar to some of them and later, Anwar by-passed to meet them privately. He was said to have provided funds and assistance to them.

Could all these incidents be part of Anwar's ploy to seize power militarily?

Already he is sending mayday signal to his business partner and reformasi days supporter, former American Vice President, Al Gore. This is a note of desperation. [Read here]

Will the takeover involved the four generals, assistance from outside forces like the Moro freedom fighter and Southern Thai separatists movement, and his willing-to-die supporters, particularly from Nik Aziz's PAS?

For the fighting troop, Anwar would have the service of Nik Aziz's band of taksub (fanatics), Unit Amal. Don't laugh please. Former Unit Amal trainees have graduated to be part of Al Maunah and involved in some Bank heist.

Flagpole-pissing Kit Siang fear with freedom

That is not a flagpole, Kit!

If it had been the due-for-display-in-a-museum Minister of Information, Dato Dr Rais Yatim that is trying to curb the freedom of expression on Tanda Putera, it can only be expected. But another tantrum from Mr Lim “piss-the-flagpole” Kit Siang?

After all, Rais was the person who orchestrated the vengeful and deceitful game to prevent Tanda Putera from showing. There is no issue of Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, or Dato Nazri Aziz or others pursuading PM to hold back the film.

If he had allowed it, the issue would have died off and May 13 is a non issue by now. The  spectre against the Prime Minister’s father, Tun Abdul Razak from Dr Kua Kia Soong’s May 13 book would have dissipated and hopefully died.

The public would have endeared themselves with Tun Abdul Razak. Politically, one would hope the voters will further endear themselves with Dato Najib.

Rais manouvered through Naguib Razak, the former Director of FINAS, who was made to bark at his request using the short term contract and few months extension as his leash. Pity the bloke, Rais did not renew his contract and eventually replaced him. Certainly this is no way to develop the potential oin the local film industry.

Unfortunately, it is the same leash Rais have been using to reign Dato Sharil of MCMC. So there goes the Multimmedia industry. Heard there is a last ditch fleecing of the industry before someone goes away.

Another officer in the same faith as Naguib is Bernama's Dato Hasnul. Is some transaction brewing at Bernama TV?

In the meanwhile, Rais is now sore with Dato Fuad Hassan, who no more disclose everything to him, but only to PM. Enough bitching of the control freak and his ever foolish and egotistical ways.

For Kit Siang to make an issue on the recent private screening of Tanda Putera, it is truly a sad case of hypocrasy of the highest order. What happen to his life long struggle for free democrasy, freedom of speech and freedom of expression?

Never mind that his son is disinterested in the freedom of the press with his lawsuits against Utusan Malaysia, banning selective mainstream media, threatening reporters and journalists, and childish tantrum when asked to the wall.

More so, his habit of calling a gag order evertime DAP is caught in a public spat is bewildering. Perhaps, Dr Mansor is right to help us realise that CAT does not stand for “Competency, Accountability and Transparency” but “Cocky, Arrogant, and Tokong.”

One wonder of the kind of democrasy that DAP practise when their friendly media, Malaysiakini could make the preposterous demand for military transparency in the midst of a security threat in Lahad Datu but issue a gag order on the open DAP-PKR spat between Dr Boo Cheng Hau and Dato Chua Jui Meng.

Unless DAP has a different working definition, freedom of the press is the freedom of speech and expression through vehicles including various electronic media and publication.

Freedom of speech  is the right to express any opinions without censorship or restraint, so gag orders is against such freedom. While freedom of expression is the freedom to speak without censorship or limitation, or both. So why the fuzz again on Tanda Putera's closed door screening to Felda settlers?

The film touches a lot on Felda and it should help remind them of their history. It should not have been a closed door screening but public screening. But no .... Malaysiakini has to make it into an issue:
It is Malaysiakini now raising the spectre of May 13

Malicious plan behind May 13 film, claims Bersih
Tuesday, 19 February 2013

(Malaysiakini) - The Bersih coalition has condemned the closed-door preview of the film Tanda Putera yesterday, saying that it perpetuates the politics of fear and is “a step backwards” in the nation’s political discourse.

“Although we have yet to watch the film, we understand there are parts of the film that are unhealthy that could trigger interracial hatred and distrust."

“We feel that there is malicious intent behind the airing of the film, such as scaring the voters so that they would continue to support BN."

“We feel that this practice is unhealthy. What we want is competition that is healthy, based on policies regarding change, health, education, development and others. That is what we want – debate,” said Bersih steering committee member Toh Kin Woon (picture) at a press conference today.

He added that this would be better than inciting fear, because it enables voters to make their choice after comparing the policies of contesting parties.

The controversial film, which has yet be aired publicly, was shown to some 3,000 Felda settlers yesterday at Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s request.
Post-May 13 National Operations Council

The film was about the relationship of Najib’s father and then Prime Minister Abdul Razak Hussein and his deputy, Dr Ismail Abdul Rahman, in the aftermath of the May 13, 1969 racial riots.

However, critics have said that the film’s depiction of the riots was too reliant on the official version of the events.

The film’s director Shuhaimi Baba had defended the film, saying that it would help the nation to recover from its May 13 trauma.

Notice the keyword “yet to watch the film, we understand there are”? Whose understanding was it? DAP's?

Who else but Kit Siang. Read on in FMT full here.

First thing first, the movie was never censored or reviewed again by Censorship Board. It was cleared from the first time it was meant to be shown publicly.

The recent showing to Felda settlers only proves that there is no such censorship and cleared for public viewing. It was only Rais’s lie to fulfill his vengenceful ways on the film industry for not kneeling to himself as Zork.

And, Dato Hishamuddin, the Minister, in which the Censorcship Board comes under, was a willing accomplice to stand down from correcting that wrongful accusation.

If Rais wants to be angry, go channel his outburst with his UMNIO counterpart, Dato Ahmad Maslan. It was he who requested for the film to be screened.

Initially, it was thought to be for 600 people but it was reported to have attracted 3,000 viewers. Did some PM Adviser say no one wants to see the film? Kasi pulang paku buah keras.

What is wrong with them watching it and be reminded of Felda's pioneering spirit and Tun Abdul Razak as the man behind it. It is a long hard struggle before they are what they are today.

Some claim it is political. What is not political in Malaysia? Kit Siang can piss on some flagpole and it be a political issue. What more with Felda being politicised to the hilt these days. Free democrasy allows all sides to present their point of view.

ANAK only surfaced few years back to politicise Felda with false and unsubstantiated accusations, and slanders to gain some vote for PAS.  They were never part of that struggle to provide a lifeline for these landless farmers.

Mazlan Aliman was not a settler or assisting to toil the land of his father. He was a bumb at his Johor Felda parent’s home.

Mazlan created fear and false hope to the settler. In the end, he absconded with a major part of the compensation meant for the suing parties, i.e. Felda Kemahang 3 settlers. Felda decided not to appeal their technical victory but just pay off the demanded money.

Something is strange with this opposition fear with Tanda Putera's private viewing. It must be because of fear, DAP is willing to piss on their principle and decade long struggle for the democratic freedom they preached all these years.

One wonders why are they fearful of a movie about the sacrifices of two great Malaysian leaders in facing personal and security challenges while at the same time, build the nation, unite the multi-racial and multi-religious Malaysia.

The May 13 riots was merely the backdrop or intrductory background of the situation of the time and it was the touchy situation that the two great leaders and freinds had to handle. At the same time, they had to struggle to annihilate the communists insurgents which ended only in 1986.

Like any other movie of same genre – such as Gandhi, it should not have been made an issue as it is just a movie interpretation in depicting the enigmatic leadership in quelling the racial uprising on the agitation by communists insurgents and how they put the country back on track.

There is nothing sinister about the movie and nothing that can create a Malay uprising or racial clash or anything of that sort.

Hong Kong have produced so many patriotic movies ridiculing and running down Japanese and other races and those movies were screened here without anybody making any noise. So what is wrong with Dato Najib allowing the private screening of Tanda Putra to Felda settlers?

After all, the movie can enhance the settlers knowledge on history of the country and feel the hardship of the country’s leaders in trying to make Malaysia a developed and peaceful country.

Bersih and DAP’s grumblings and noises on the movie has no ground and baseless. If the movie is no more for public viewing until after election, why their fear?

Bersih should blame themselves for opposition's dwindling support

Bersih is actually voicing out the minds of the oppositions and they are in fear that the movie would influence the minds and hearts of Malays to vote for Umno. They have indicated the fear enveloping the opposition when the Malays are now unite for UMNO and the opposition can only dream of Putrajaya.

The Malays are actually running away from them – DAP being chauvinistic Chinese, PKR having jokers and ridiculed by DAP while PAS is steering away from the basic struggle of strengthening Islam. They see Anwar Ibrahim and PAS leaders such as Nik Aziz Nik Mat and Abdul Hadi Awang being controlled indirectly by DAP leaders and how these Malay and Islamic leaders being run-down and belittled.

Tanda Putra the movie is just a reminder, just like the movie Gandhi, on how the population should value and appreciate what they have right now from the sacrifices of former leaders. The opposition fear most when the Malays are thankful and appreciative.

This same fear is making them  jittery of whatever moves UMNO and BN makes. They fear of losing everything they have been fighting for all this while – power and the opportunity to dictate – not divide and rule and dictate.

Academic fiction written based on a weak class theory

They know that by making enough noise and creating the perception of Chinese public against the private screening they can make Rais Yatim fearful and return to his tantrum. However, Rais Yatim failed to realised that the failure of his Ministry to debunk the May 13 book by Kua Kia Soong that inspired this film.

The book was a case of fitting selective and foreign bias speculation of events to fit the Marxist theory of class struggle but was left unanswered and not responded aggressively. His bodeksters-filled Ministry allowed the strange ideas of May 13 as a conspiracy to maintain elistist control on power to flourish.

In the first place, class theory is a theory rejected and seen as impractical in the social science academic circle. For Malaysia with it’s racial and religous diversity, society cannot be simplistically streamlined into the ruler and the ruled.

The Marxist theory would insist on the ruler holding controlling on the economy. Perhaps, someone can tell us if the Malay ruling elites were rich then? Tun Abdul Razak  came from a bangsawan family but had to walk for miles to get to school. Did anyone ponder about that?

Off course, it raises the question that the Malay ruling elites were doing a pwoer grab to enrich themselves. If it had been so like those dictators of Indonesia and Phillipines enriching themselves but leaving the people impoveished, can UMNO and Barisan Nasional sustain to be in power for this long?

Kua Kia Soong is just an excuse to promote doubts in the mind of the people based on some flimsy sociological theory and disparate view of events from the perspective of the ever suspicious and deceitful western  journalists and embassy officials.

Dr Kua can have his say without being censored, so what is wrong with Director Shumi having a say. Let the people and public ponder, discuss and conclude themselves. Why is Bersih and DAP so fearful?

If pissing Kit Siang can’t handle the freedom of speech and expression that is emerging despite being his life long struggle, it shows he is long overdue to retire and dissappear from the land of Malaysia.

Nambikei on PR's Campaign of Smear, Lie and Panic

By Team Nambikei

Time and time again the opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat (PR), has hurled accusations at Barisan Nasional (BN).

Despite the government’s earnest and forthright dealings and transparency in administration, the opposition has not ceased its attacks of cheap rumours and dirty tricks at hoodwinking the public.

Here we have combed through the various PR-linked media and blogs to bring to you the top 7 myths that the opposition rumour mills have created.

Myth 1: The Phantom 300,000

Until today, PR has yet to substantiate its claim of 300,000 stateless Indians in Malaysia despite its unrelenting accusation of the government sidelining the welfare and rights of Malaysian Indians.

If we are to analyse that accusation, 300,000 stateless Indians would mean 1 in every family of 6 is without an IC. Quite preposterous, don’t you think?

While the figure is surely exaggerated, the government is aware that there is a small segment of the Indian community which does not have the proper documents. To address the problem, the MyDaftar programme was established in 2011 by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Since the programme was launched, about 15,000 people have applied for the Malaysian IC.

Myth 2: The Electoral Cheat

Bersih’s repeated requests and demonstrations for a reform of the current electoral system have been prudently been reviewed and appointed by the government, proving that the government and BN were committed to upholding the democratic institution of the nation.

Its 8 demands, which are to clean up of the electoral roll; reform of postal ballot; use of indelible ink; minimum 21 days of campaign period; free and fair access to mass media for all parties; strengthening of public institutions; no corruption; and no dirty politics.

In spite of the government’s compliance of Bersih’s demands, Bersih and its members continue to hurl accusations that the EC is unfair. At the end of the day, if BN wins fairly based on the people’s sincere votes, PR and Bersih will always slam the win as a win through cheat.

Myth 3: The Family Politics

PR loves to drum up that BN has always and will always keep the power within the family. However, what they do not realise is that it is their own party that plays the nepotism game and not BN.

While it is true that there are current ministers whose fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or fathers-in-law were former ministers themselves, there is no BN member who is currently sitting in Parliament or State Assembly together with their father or son unlike the Lim Guan Eng and father Lim Kit Siang or Karpal Singh and son Gobind Singh of DAP.

There is even the father-mother-daughter trifecta of PKR who are in the game to win ensure the father sits at the head of the Parliament.

Myth 4: The Ringgit Metre

Corruption has always been a problem the government has grappled with; it has been an issue that the BN leaders have tried to combat ever since the beginning.

The problem with corruption is not as what PR leaders claim: it is not those sitting in the parliament and cabinet who are involved with corruption but it happens somewhere down the chain of command. Our culture is one in which the people resort to bribing and giving “gifts” in order to get some work done.

The government and BN have done their best and continue to implement regulations that will curtail this problem. However, what PR does is to accuse the BN leaders of being corrupt, saying that they drive big cars, live in lavish mansions and spend money frivolously.

What they fail to note is that even within their coalition, there are members who have recorded cases of corruption. Example below;
1) The RM30 Million logging contract given by Kelantan State Government to company owned by YB Nga Kor Ming of DAP, Perak.

2) The sand mining contract given by Selangor State Government to its elected state rep YB Amirudin bin Shari from PKR.

Myth 5: The Tamil Factor

Between 2009 and 2013, the government has spent RM540 million for the development of Tamil schools through its Special Government Programme. The government funding has been wisely spent on improving the infrastructure and facilities of the 523 existing Tamil schools.

Not only has the development programme managed to give a much-needed facelift to the schools, the improved facilities and infrastructure as well as the development of the academia has all translated to one main improvement: the fortification of the quality of education.

All these have been done through BN efforts without much support from the PR state governments.

For instance, the Kedah state government has yet to provide land promised. As for Selangor, the PKR-led state is always blowing the Midlands Tamil School horn, which is just an isolated case in comparison to the over 300 Tamil schools built and upgraded by BN nationwide.

Myth 6: The Temple Sanctity

For a long time, the opposition has accused BN of oppressing the freedom of Hindus in Malaysia, claiming that BN is responsible for demolishing temples and shrines.

While there were some demolitions done in the past to tear down illegal structures, after Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak came to office in 2009, BN has not touched even a single temple. However, since the same period of time, PR-led states have demolished 7 temples.

In Selangor itself, four temples have been demolished in Pandamaran, Ampang, Glenmarie and Serendah. Over in Kedah, a temple in Taman Petani Jaya was torn down. More recently, a stint by the Sepang Municipal Council saw council officers tearing down a shrine in a private residence.

The atrocities of PR in which the party is attacking the Hindus of Malaysia must not be forgotten by the people.

Myth 7: The Judicial Independence

PR’s claim that the Malaysian judiciary system is controlled by BN is complete hogwash.

Since Merdeka, the judiciary system has upheld its independence and its autonomy from the government so as not to impede the judiciary process. Should PR’s claims be true, BN politicians would not be charged in court nor would PR politicians win their suits in court.

How then would have former Selangor Chief Minister Khir Toyo be sentenced to one year in jail or Anwar Ibrahim win his suit against Utusan Malaysia?

To dispel the rumours surrounding the judiciary, Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria in January reaffirmed the judiciary’s commitment to uphold its independence and would continue to strengthen itself as an institution against any attempt to undermine its independence.

Clearly PR knows that it is losing the battle in gaining public trust so it has resorted to smearing BN in hopes to sway public trust to its camp.

However, all it can do is smear, spread lies and create panic in the public without having concrete proof. BN has led the country remarkably and valiantly since Merdeka and it is vital for the rakyat to not be swayed by sweet talk and promises of mere words.

DAP victory parade sparked May 13 violent

Flagpole pissing Lim Kit Siang knows it and is doing whatever is necessary to not be reminded of his role in the May 13, 1969 incident in the light of his greatest election feat.

This is especially so with former DAP Member of Parliament and key man in the American espionage outfit, SUARAM, Dr Kua Kia Soong published his May 13 book to spin the masses out of the truth of May 13 using a weak Marxist class theory.

With DAP expected to get the majority support of the Chinese community, they are trying every way possible to disengaged the May 13 incident and their overzealous victory parade. Using some frivolous argument, they are trying to turn around the table and instead blame it on the Malay running amuck.

Some Malay political idiots fell for Kit Siang's deception for the sake of helping to blame the incident on UMNO.

But Kit Siang knows and many knows that Tanda Putera will spoil Kit Siang's chance to taste his lifelong dream to capture the federal governmewnt and subsequently clean his tainted life history.

Sorry Kit Siang ... as your bible preaching son always say, the truth shall set you free. Truth has surfaced and shall set you free from the misery of being torment by your own lies and deception.

There is blood on your hand.

The New Straits Times today has the story. Read below:

Hock Guan rues 1969 DAP win

By BALAN MOSES | news@nst.com.my

SAD: 'Tragic riots could have been averted'

KUALA LUMPUR: A FOUNDER of the DAP regrets leading the party to unexpected victory in 13 parliamentary seats and, among others, a sizable number of state seats in Selangor in the 1969 general election as this may have indirectly contributed to the May 13 incident.

Goh Hock Guan, the man who gave the party its name and designed its "rocket" symbol, wished in retrospect that the DAP victory had been smaller as this might have possibly averted the "national tragedy".

"There is a very, very, big connection between the DAP (opposition) victory and May 13. I wish I had entered fewer DAP candidates in the elections as this may have possibly prevented the riots," he said in an interview.

The then secretary-general of the party said the eventual electoral stalemate in Selangor, where the opposition led by the DAP and the Alliance had almost the same number of seats each, might have been one of the factors that contributed to the disturbance.

"The stalemate meant that a state government could not have been formed in Selangor. It was too much of a victory for the opposition for some people to handle," Goh said, taking pains not to directly blame the DAP for the riots.

Goh had won in the then Bungsar parliamentary constituency by beating the Alliance's (MCA's) Lew Sip Hon in the 1969 general election.

The 78-year-old architect and town planner felt that he should have given the body politic of the Alliance more time to come to terms with the possibility of a large opposition win in 1969.

"I remember Tun Abdul Razak telling me in 1974 that I had effectively destroyed the Alliance (by defeating, among others, the MCA candidates in 1969)," he said, adding that the second prime minister had asked him then to join forces with the Barisan Nasional to rebuild the country.

Goh, who left the DAP in 1974 to join Gerakan, said he had envisaged the DAP as a multiracial party open to all to take a young Malaysia forward.

"The four boosters of the rocket were to be the Malays, Chinese, Indians and the people of Sabah and Sarawak. It's a shame that the DAP now is a party of Chinese and Indians," the owner of internationally-acclaimed architectural firm Goh Hock Guan and Associates said.

Goh said the DAP (without substantial Malay support today) represented the anti-thesis of the BN which had a multiracial character.

On Datuk Seri Najib Razak, he said the prime minister was following his father's footsteps in garnering the support of all the races in taking the nation forward.

"I hope he will continue with the momentum and tempo of his broad-based policies to look after the interests of all Malaysians."

On DAP's electoral pact with Pas, he said he had always found it difficult to reconcile his personal politics of multiracialism with the Islamic party's religious objectives.

"This is the trouble in the pact between the DAP and Pas. The DAP will be helping Pas win (all). This is the truth. It will be a pyrrhic victory for the DAP."

On his falling out with DAP adviser and former party secretary-general Lim Kit Siang "who was closer to me than my brother" at one point, he said victory in the 1969 general election had an unexpected effect on the latter and a few other members of parliament.

"I had it out with Kit Siang. This was because before I knew what had happened, the man who had been driving an old Fiat car which I bought for 500 dollars had bought a Mercedes Benz.

"I criticised him and others for this at a central executive committee meeting. They did not like it."

This and his contrary stand with the party on the "ownership" of the Straits of Malacca, which he insisted should be an international waterway, put paid to his continued presence in the party.

Goh said another reason why he left was his unhappiness over the way in which the DAP had wanted him "to bankroll its branches as I was a successful architect even then".

In Anwar or Reuters we trust?

Sinar Harian frontpage yesterday was tasked to defend Anwar Ibrahim from allegation of involvement in the Lahad Datu foreign intrusion.

On February 19th here, this blog wrote of Anwar in desperation to be Prime Minister and will use his last straw to stage a "Malaysia Spring". The incident in Lahad Datu looks to be part of the plan.

Along the way, he could use the opportunity to ridicule the defense establishment and frustrate the servicemen. Hopefully some votes from the hard to crack military and security sector could trickle his way.

In the short time, it would ridicule the government reasoning in the RCI that the issuance of citizenship was justifiable. For Sabahan with animosity towards immigrants, the intrusion only invoke their anger towards Barisan Nasional government.

If his act is caught, it could spell disaster to his politics and himself. He could be hanged for treason and jeopardising national security.

Any coup, be it coup d'etat (or military coup) or popular uprising (revolution), someone must bankroll it and there is a military element. Anwar could be attempting a coup with the possibility of a small military backing.

The incidents in Southern Thai and Lahad Datu could be linked to this.

He could be trying to upstage Prme Minister Dato Najib Tun Razak in the same manner he tried to negate his landmark visit to Gaza with an event with Hamas. This time it is to sabotage Najib's peace effort between MILF and the Phillipines government by working with the enemy, Nur Misuari and MNLF.

The incident in Lahad Datu is slowly revealing Anwar's treasonous act against the country. He may not fear the possibility of being found guilty for treason that amounts to a death penalty because he does not believe the government dare put him to trial.

It only makes him a martyr, dead or alive.

His only fear is the voters believe in his involvement and outrightly reject him. It is only natural that he denied Reuter's report.

Extract of the February 14th Reuters report reads below:

A high-ranking Malaysian government source with direct knowledge of the situation told Reuters the gunmen were suspected to be from a faction unhappy with the Philippines' recent peace deal with the main Muslim rebel group.

Raul Hernandez, a spokesman for the Philippine Foreign Ministry, said his government was trying to get information about the incident and was in touch with Malaysian officials.

A senior Philippine military official said navy boats and an aircraft had been sent to the border area. He dismissed the Malaysian account of the group, saying they were unarmed Filipinos who had been promised land in Sabah.

He said a meeting over the land claim had attracted a large crowd and drawn the attention of Malaysian authorities.

"We know that these people arrived there five days ago and most of them are from nearby islands," said the official, who asked not to be identified.

"Some of them were already residents in Sabah for a long time and they normally cross the border without any problem."

Another Philippine military officer said the men were followers of the heirs of the Sultan of Sulu - an island group off the southern Philippines - who had been invited to Sabah by a Malaysian opposition politician to discuss land issues.

Malaysia pays a token amount to the Sultanate each year for the "rental" of Sabah state - an arrangement that stretches back to British colonial times.

The number of illegal Muslim immigrants from the impoverished southern Philippines has surged in recent decades, stirring social tension with indigenous Christian inhabitants in Sabah.

The Philippine government signed a landmark peace deal with Muslim rebels late last year to end a 40-year conflict in the south, but some factions have voiced opposition.

Reuters is one of the most respectable news agency and seldom provide report based on undisclosed sources. The occasional situation would be in such tense military situation where official statements are hard to secure and the only information given ahs to be in confidence.

However, Reuter's journalistic reputation for integrity and reliability will give credence that there are such sources.

One can read Anwar's denial and his usual predictable response to accuse Reuter's report as the work of UMNO here.

How could it be the work of UMNO when Reuters reported it as from a Phillipines military source which defers from the rather hold back Malaysian military information?

Do consider that he has yet to answer honestly questions such as on his alleged missing Omega watch in the Chinadoll video scandal, refusal to provide DNA sample, disallowing DNA test on Azmin's daughter, and answering Wikileak revelation of his deposit with Singapore branch of an Israeli bank.

On February 16th, The Phillipines Star portal here reported that this group is linked to the MNLF and Nur Misuari. An extract of the report from Manilla reads below:

“It was even what we call in the military an acoustic war as no bodies of the dead turned up but only sounds of weapons being fired,” The STAR source said.

He said Misuari attempted to seek refuge in Sabah after his men launched attacks in Zamboanga City.
[Read also this report here where he justified his action and passed the responsibility on the Malaysian and Phillipines government.]

“But always the Malaysian government turned him over to the Philippine government,” the source said. “That is why Misuari would always be bitter against Malaysia.”

Foreign affairs officials said they were informed by Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman yesterday morning of the ongoing negotiations with the armed men, who identified themselves as members of the “royal army” of the Sultanate of Sulu.
The Phillipines miliitary sources reported has established that they were invited by a Malaysian opposition leader and this group is orchestrated by MNLF's Nur Misuari and linked to an attack on Patikul, Sulu.

What does that logically got to do with Anwar's allegation that it is UMNO's hands at work?

The Manilla Times news portal dated February 24th viewed it as the work of members of the Sultanate of Sulu and MNLF. Extract below:

Malaysian officials earlier suspected the intruders to be members of a Moro rebel group, but Philippine officials said they were unarmed Filipinos who had been promised land.

The drama on Borneo island has threatened to stir tension between the Southeast Asian neighbors whose ties have been periodically frayed by security and migration problems caused by a porous sea border.”

Meanwhile, our Mindanao Correspondent Al Jacinto’s report, also confirms that the “intrusion” is being handled competently by officials of both Philippine and Malaysian governments.

Jacinto’s writes that “reports said the men are members of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo and the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), and that some of them were armed, who are active in the campaign to reclaim the Malaysian oil-rich island which is part of the Sultanate.”
Nur Misuari was reported in some pro-Sulu Sultanate blogs to have met in October 2011. That is certainly a long period to collaborate a course of action.

A confirmation of the collaboration is the picture above taken from the Kesultanan Sulu blog here. It also shows Jeffrey meeting with the claimed Sulu Sultanate for discussion and seeking mutual ground of interest.

The Manilla Times report continues:

Jacinto also disturbingly writes that “The intrusion occurred just as former Malaysian leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, also Pakatan Rakyat de facto leader, proposed that Sabah be granted autonomy.”
Anwar did promised autonomy for Sabah but his offer was criticised heavily by Dato Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, the leader of the STAR granted Sabah. He claimed that Anwar's offer is merely lip service and not in tandem with the true meaning of autonomy. [Find it on Malaysia Today]

Sabah has some level of autonomy in the sense that it has control over land, it's own native court on cultural and freedom of religion albeit in accordance with the stipulated laws. They also enjoy a different land code than Semenanjung that is more advantageous in securing oil royalty.

Anwar had collaborated with CIA operatives in Phillipines who were training Jeffrey's armed Kadazan gurilla to seek an armed Sabah secession. Moro liberalition group had leaked the information to Kuala Lumpur and Jeffrey was held under Internal Security Act for two years.

Years later, Anwar was later removed as Deputy Prime Minister and President of UMNO. [Link to be provided]

Anwar and Jeffrey tried to work together in PKR but both got into collision course when Jeffrey was denied to lead Sabah PKR.

Jeffrey left to lead a new party and will contest in 40 of the 50 state seats. Anwar is struggling in Sabah to dethrone BN with a divided Sabah opposition and his own PKR grassroot at odds with partners of Pakatan, Dato Lajim Ukin-led APS and Dato Wilfred Bumburiang-led PPPS.

This piece of history only shows that Anwar was willing in the past to allow Sabah out of Malaysia. Thus, working for the Sulu Sultanate and Nur Misuari to reclaim Sabah to forego Sabah is nothing new for Anwar.

When Najib was getting good political mileage with the peace agreement signed between MILF and Phillipines government, Anwar need to steal that victory off him and maybe embarass him.

He was seen meeting Nur Misuari. The pictures are all over the blogs. MrKinabaluBoy posting here was  republished by other blogs. The only way Anwar can deny such a meeting is to claim the picture is another case of mistaken identity as in the China doll video?

It is not easy for Anwar since there is a motive.

With both having a common enemy in Najib and the Malaysian government, the possibility of Nur Misuari collaborating with Anwar cannot be discounted. It is not totally absurd to say that Anwar could have promised Sabah to Nur Misuari too.

Thus, Anwar should explain the picture and make known of what  transpired in their meeting. It is incumbent on him to do so. A simple denial is insufficient to dispell the credibility of reports leading to his involvement in the intrusion.

As far as the legitimacy of the Sulu Sultanate to claim Sabah, follow this video by published on Dave Avran's blog here as below:

There are a total of 60 claimants for the throne of Sulu. Another Malaysiakini video shows there is no basis for the Sulu claim on Sabah:

The Star's Phillip Golingai here concur with Farish Noor that the Sulu Sultanate could be a hoax.

Project IC for Chinese? [Up-dated]

The Kudat Ma Tzu statue to welcome Chinese immigrants into Sabah?

Lim Kit Siang was making a big fuzz over the initial revelation that quite a sizeable number of Filipino residing in Sabah was given blue ICs. Many parties was trying to blame it on Tun Dr Mahathir.

With ease the old Master turned the table around to say that if he was bad for issuing IC to Filipinos, then Tunku Abdul Rahman is worse for issuing one million IC. It did not permanently silenced the opposition but after their lame rebuttals, it was sufficient to stop further attack on Dr Mahathir. [Read past posting here]

In Sabah, Dato Yong Teck Lee's SAPP are going on a "Sabah for Sabahan" mode like Dr Jeffrey Kitingan's STAR. He is making a big issue of selective RCI findings despite revealed information already dispelled allegations of BN rigging the electoral roll with new citizens to win over Sabah from PBS in 1994.

RCI is due to reconvene on Wednesday, February 27th. Will Yong still be playing up the RCI issue in his campaign after this posting?

The crux of Yong's allegations should be directed at those corrupt officials at the National Registration Department (NRD) who was then held under Internal Security Act (ISA).

PBS did not lost from the alleged electoral roll change but lost power in a coup by PBS and coalition partner, USNO assemblymen frogging over to Barisan Nasional as orchestrated by master frogger, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

During the time Anwar was in his elements as in controlling Sabah politics in the 90s, he was also instrumental in getting Yong appointed as 2-year rotational Chief Minister for 1996-1998. In return, he may have been greatly rewarded by Yong.

This blogger received an e-mail from his Sabah source that was closely following the RCI in Sabah. It contains some revealing information that was presented to the RCI. Surprisingly, it was not played up by the mainstream media in Sabah.

It only strengthen the suspicion [read past posting here] that Sabah media are not being professional in their reporting of the RCI and are trying to hold back information. One wonder who owns and work for the newspapers and radios in Sabah.

The information was a submission from the Ministry of Internal Security to the RCI. It contains statistics of ICs issued in Sabah and the numbers of according to country of origin and ethnicity from 1963-2012.

The first Table 1 below is the number of issued ICs, those still living and those died:

The figure for 1964 to 2012 shows the total issued blue ICs are 66,682 in which 59,726 are still living and not reported to have died.

This differs vastly to previous claims of 73,000 to as high as 200,000 of blue ICs issued in the politically tumultous years prior to and after the year 1994 when PBS was ousted. Worth mentioning in passing that a University Professor claimed that his research found Sabah population increased drastically at a certain year.

So does the mythical numbers been bandied around for real?

Table 2 below provided information on the number of issued ICs in accordance with the place of origin:

In this figure, it shows that the highest number of ICs are issue to immigrants who are based from Malaysia at 38,214. They are likely to be those immigrants already residing in Malaysia for generations and are most likely of stateless status.

One could assume that the majority of them are Filipinos from Southern Phillipines. There are probably Chinese and other ethnics too, possibly even orang asal Sabah in the interiors.

The highest other country of origin other than from within Malaysia are China at 13,556. This excludes those from Hong Kong at 1,981.

Neighbouring Indonesia and Brunei are only 7,501 and 1,126, respectively. Another country of origin that is likely to be Malays is Cocos Keeling island near Australia is 958.

India is only 233.

This statistics is not complete because the total is only 64,889 but it only differs by about 2,000 from the total in Table 1.

Thus far it looks like the largest recipient of blue ICs from outside Malaysia is from China.

Could this be the possible reason that Dato Chong Kah Kiat fought tooth and nail against Dato Musa Aman and resigned as Deputy CM on the issue of statue Ma Tzu for Kudat.

The former BN CM and predecessor of Musa Aman received support from  leaders of DAP, LDP, SAPP and others to build the statue.

A sort of Chinese "statue of liberty" to welcome incoming Chinese immigrants?

Perhaps, it is still inconclusive to steer the wrath of the KDM and other Sabah ethnics towards Chong as allegedly bringing in immigrants from China.

Let's see the ethnic breakdown in table 3 for 1964 to 2012, below:

In this table, the number considered as Malays, which include Brunie Malays, Bugis, Banjar, Banjar, Jawa, and Minangkabau in 14,003.

The highest number among the ethnic Malays is the Bugis is 10,575.

This is interesting because there is a new PKR politician going around claiming Dato Najib brought in 300,000 of his Bugis clan from Sulawesi. Najib came to power in 2009 but the number of bugis given ICs for 2002-2012 is only 7,489.

That is the glaring weakness in most of PKR allegations. They are based on false fact.

The Chinese is still the highest number. The number of those categorised as Chinese is 28,092. To include all other Chinese sub-ethics, the numbers adds up to 28,893.

There is a total of 437 Indians.

The Pakistanis that is allegedly being given ICs by the thousands by Dato Musa Aman whose got Pakistani, Kadazan and Malay bloods in only 153!

The total of 43,507 is still short by 23,176 but could likely to be made out of the long list of ethnic groups of Sabah and Southern Phillipines. Thus, it is sufficient to assume that the Chinese at 28,893 is the major beneficiary of the program to solve the citizenship problem. .

In Sabah, the Chinese controls the economy and two Chinese - Dato Chong Kah Kiat (2001-2003) and Dato Yong Teck Lee (1996-98) - was at the pinnacle of power as Sabah Chief Minister.

Since the information is not exactly pinpointing how many Chinese were given for each year, the Sabahans may like to ask them if they had approve the large number of  Chinese to be citizens.

Under the various agreements and discussion panels in the formation of Malaysia, issuance of citizenship in Sabah require the Sabah government approval i.e. Chief Minister.

The latest rumours from Sabahkini here is that Chong is joining PKR.

Perhaps, Chong may like to answer an allegation by now PKR's possible candidate, Musli Oli in his speech as then Perkasa Sabah Chief and Vice president at the launching of Perkasa Selangor in AU3 Ulu Klang on January 30th, 2010.

He alleged that Chong had given away practically all remaining timber available in Sabah to Chinese loggers for a concession period of 100 year period.

Perhaps the policy is to encourage planned reforestration program. So someone must explain and tell because Musli Oli's information can be rather suspect at times.

As writer of political books and mores so, now as an aspirant PKR candidate, Musli Oli may have a sharp ear to pick-up rumours and mind to suspect wrongdoings from the corridor of power but is usually poor on facts and understanding on pertinent policy matter.

By the way, he is the dude going around in Semenanjung with the frivolous claim of Najib bringing in his Bugis kinfolk in the hundreds of thousand to rig the electoral rolls.

So ... what will Yong - the son of an immigrant Hakka rubber tapper, became Chief Minister at the recommendation of Anwar Ibrahim and had frogged with him twice will say now - say?

As BN Chief Minister, he accumulated thousands and thousands of forest concessions and rubber pantation in the Sandakan area particularly. .

Conveneiently, this blog here claimed that a Sabah GLCs lost RM114 million under his two years watch but his name is left unsaid. Here and here are more revelation of Yong Teck Lee. Then he can perhaps he can then answer: Was BN the plunderer of Sabah or was it he himself?

Hmmm ... Sabah for Sabahans eh?

Lahad Datu, Sabah oil and American interest

In our previous posting, "In Anwar or Reuters we trust?", one sceptical reader commented as below:
We trust ANwar. YOur propaganda made Anwar looks like superhero capable of doing so many thing. He is the agent of US, China, SIngapore or even Israel. Make him looks like a James Bond. Also you make Dr M like stupid fool or someone incapable of knowing what his subordinate action.
There are three issues raised by this Anwar sympathiser or someone captivated by Anwar's oral capability.
First issue is about Anwar's involvement with the Ladah Datu intrusion. Mind us for the speculative piece in "Anwar's last straw" but his intention for an Arab Spring-like Malaysia Spring is unmistakeable and fairly conclusive. The various reports are there in our previous posting "In Anwar or Reuters we trust?".

Secondly, it about Anwar's international links and acting as agents for the superpower. Allow us to correct the commentator. It is just with the US, in which the condition has to be in tandem with US policy with Israel.

No for Singapore. Despite being an ally of the British and providing services to the US Navy fleet, Singapore can be diplomatically described as a concerned neighbour and observer. Definitely, Anwar is not linked to China.

Thirdly, it is his comments on Tun Dr Mahathir.

The reader is not at fault for being dumb strucked by Anwar. Probably too young to be aware of the history behind.

In our youth, we too were mesmerised by Anwar as student leader at University of Malaya in the early 70s. On several occasions, we heard him speak on campus and after he got out of ISA.

But we woke up fast enough from hallucination.

His rhetorics were getting repetitious. He only speak of what is ideally needed by society and nation as taken by some textbook or academic paper but not sufficiently knowledgeable or clever to know how to get there. By the late 70s, we saw his true colours at a Malaysian student gathering in the US.

That's it with him.

To show that we do not pluck information on Anwar from the sky, we have met, spoke and know quite a with few of his MCKK mates, UM mates and ABIM mates from the early days.

We met and socialised with Anwar's fellow student leader,  Dato Ibrahim Ali when he was leading ITM's student union. His sister and brother-in-law to be was our history and geography teacher, respectively during our days in the lower forms.

On matters of Anwar, it is not merely a propaganda but from a lifelong profiling and understanding of the man. Many personalities had only been recently  awaken.

None of Anwar's original comrades are still with him. Anwar is compromised and have deviated violently from his original struggle.

It is a struggle (perjuangan) worth fighting for to save the nation and future generation from the disaster to come by empowering this power crazy, orally talented but intellectually deficient man to the highest position in government.

To answer for the three issues, perhaps it is best to start with the third issue as the lowest hanging fruit.

As understudy to the Prime Minister, Anwar was a trusted man of Prime Minister Dr Mahathir. He was tasked with many political assignments. One of which being Sabah.

The suspicion on Anwar's immoral activities only surfaced in 1994, the year PBS was ousted. The then Inspector General of Police, Tun Hanif Omar approached the Prime Minister with the information on Anwar's homosexual activities.

When his problems finally begin unbearable with the abuse of power by Anwar to use the Special Branch of Police to suppress the report made by Ummi Hafilda, Azizan and the late Dr Rustina together with the  expose by the late political Khalid Jefri in his book "50 Dalil: Kenapa Anwar tidak boleh jadi Perdana Menteri", Dr Mahathir had to step in.

Consequently, he was removed as Deputy Prime Minister in the midst of the financial crisis and the Commonwealth Games of 2000.

It was during the financial crisis that it was crystal clear that Anwar was acting in the best interest of his foreign power and was pursuing to bring Malaysia into the fold of IMF. That answers the second issue.

Back then, whatever initial sympathy we had for Anwar was over-rided by his self inflicting economic and financial policy on the country. Off course, more information, evidences and personal encounters convinced us to conclude that Anwar was a homosexual.

Perhaps, the commentator is too young or not following closely events and analysis from this side. There is voluminous and extensive work available. One highly recommended website to browse and understand all about Anwar is AIDC here.

Apart from Anwar's policy as Finance Minister during the financial crisis, he confirms his links with the US with the personal support he and his family gets from George Soros, Al Gore, Madeleine Albright, Jose Estrada, and Corazon Aquino.

Upon his release, Anwar taught at Georgetown Universities.

One must have some knowledge of American Universities to know what is the significance of univesities like Georgetown, Brandeis, Harvard, Chicago, etc and it's history and affiliations.

Subsequently, he revealed his association with State Department sponsored Foundation for the Futures, Institute of Foreign Relation, National Endowment on Democrasy, etc. See this fotopage here for sample of his list.

One must understand of Anwar's links with the Temple University in Philadelphia where most of his network within the government were schooled. Prof Ismail Faruqi taught there. One such person was Dato Dr Zambery Kadir, the current Perak Menteri Besar.

We understand because we frequented Philadephia where Dato Dr Awang Adek was doing his Economics doctorate at Wharton.

Anwar's contacts with the Middle East was via the CIA-linked and oil funded Wahabi organistion such as World Association of Muslim Youth (WAMY), International Islamic Institute of Thoughts (IIIT), etc. Read The "I" Files here.

His card with Israel was revealed when he openly criticised Israel in the attack on flotilla Rachel Corre and MV Marmara and he made an Apology Tour of the US to appease the Jewish power brokers. Off course, he was caught by his statement in the Wall Street Journal report on safeguarding the security of Israel.

Finally, the third issue.

Despite the undisclosed sources in the Malaysian and Phillipines military establishment as reported by media, how can one be convinced that Anwar met Nur Misuari and subsequently, Nur Misuari and the Sulu Sultanate had their men entered Lahad Datu easily with Anwar's help?

For s start, one should read Raja Petra's publication, Malaysia Today of Wikileak here of a May 2007 communication from the American Embassy in Manilla which reaffirm Nur Misuari's strong relationship with Anwar.

One should read this blog here and it's posting entitled "Sabah: A Prize Catch."

The blog described described several coincidence to proof their point that it is not so much about Sulu Sultanate ancestral claims. There is no legitimate Sulu Sultanate in the first place and there are 60 claimants to the throne making ot a hoax.

The blog talk of  a US ship intentionally ran aground in the Phillipines as a smokescreen, a Phillipines Senator pretending to be a back channel but is actually a double agent, and irrelevant Sulu Sultante seeking American help to claim back Sabah, and a recent Manilla trip by Tian Chua and Sivarasa.

There is a character a terrorist cum conman by the name Manuello Amalilio who has close connection with the Sulu Sultanate.

It brings us to now not so covert operations trying to institute regime change in Malaysia. to conlcude, the blog claimed that "the standoff in Sabah has all the trademarks of a cleverly orchestrated plan to topple the current administrators of Sabah with influence from world superpowers. The Sulu Sultanate claim is just a smokescreen."

There is no linked to the peace agreement with the MILF but only a deceptive power game for the lucrative price of Sabah oil.

Does it make sense why Anwar is campaigning for the impossible 20% oil royalty for Sabah? Read back our posting here because it could only be feasible with Petronas out of the picture and replaced by a foreign oil company.

This is the missing link that fits into the scheme of things in an article published by AIDC here on October 18, 2012. So it is about oil and Anwar is working to betray the country for American interest

Simple questions on Bala and Deepak

Imagine one is in a small rural town or smaller pekan.

The entertainment in town is the latest movie to be showing in the cinema. If it is a new Tamil movie, ladies in beautiful saris will be coming from the plantation to watch. Upon their return, the movie will be the conversation piece in the kampong and estate till these ladies go for another movie outing.

Change that movie with an opposition ceramah. After all, both are similar because both have entertainment value.

After a sensational ceramah with it's great acting on stage, action-packed sensational revelation and accusation, and delivered with simplicity, it will also be the topic of conversation in such rural area with no news and entertainment. This is how things get spread around in rural area and also in urban areas.

Whether the things presented is true or false, how many among them bother to ponder on the logic of the allegations?

Same goes with these new Indian characters - PI Bala and Deepak - that is making their rounds in the cinema-like ceramah circuit and getting the media attention or more accurately, being given alternative media attention by the opposition.

How many bother to ponder?

No ... not the highly technical area of police investigation, and legal process. Just those simple logical questions.

P.I. Bala appeared only when it is politically needed like right now, and that is when the general election is just around the corner.

Appearing in grandeur style, with his lawyer who is a PKR leader waiting at the airport and some 50 others, Bala is made to be like the ‘ultimate weapon in the on-going political war.’ The last bomb that is supposed to ‘flatten’ Prime Minister Dato Najib Tun Razak and the ruling BN.

Bala said it out that he is returning to help out the campaign against BN.

One should wonder how come Bala, the man who claimed to know all in the Altantuya case is still giving out bits and pieces of the ‘whole episode’ and now return in grandeur to ‘finish off’ everything, meaning to give a complete picture of the case.

In the murder case of Altantunya, the statements on the stand is that he was hired to only monitor Altantunya from afar and alert Razak Baginda whenever she is going to go an approach him at his office, home or any other place.

However, Bala did not follow instruction but rented a room near to the room of Altantunya and her friends and engaged them.

It is being said that Altantunya would "asked" money from Razak for only USD5,000 or USD10,000 but it became USD50,000 after Altantunya knew of Bala. Rumours are also saying Razak had given her the money via Bala but it is not known whether the money reached her.

Strangely, Bala's first SD mentioned of Altantunya hustling for USD500,000. Thus, how did it got conjured up as commission for submarine deal when the deal has long being wrapped up?

One should wonder how come the Attorney General Chambers and the MACC are not even bothered about Bala’s return?

As a Malaysian, one would expect the two agencies should right now be questioning Bala everything about the case and the police should also get Bala to spill out everything.

The point here is that the case, which had been closed by the court, is being probed by the opposition in every angle with the aim to re-open it and point the finger to PM and wife.

Simply put is the oppositions want to see Najib and wife accused for the murder of the Mongolian model and be jailed…no more and no less.

And for that purpose, the oppositions, particularly Anwar Ibrahim is willing to do anything in takes to see that aim is achieved.

Bala, the so-called private investigator, suddenly appeared from his hide out at a time when the country is going to hold its general election, and pledge to tell the whole truth.

Why didn’t he tell the truth or spill out everything when he was here some two years ago?

Why didn’t he spill out the truth when MACC wanted to meet him overseas where he was hiding?

Why did he return now and at a time when carpet dealer Deepak Jaikishan is also pursuing the same matter?

Is the public aware that Deepak is in a difficult financial status from the bank recall by Kuwait Finance House arising from illegal loans given out by the former CEO that was asked to leave by Bank Negara Malaysia?

Or is it a planned strategy by the ‘director’ of the make-believed movie for both Bala and Deepak to make the ‘last minute kill’ to ensure victory for Anwar and the oppositions?

Are both the men credible when they reveal or purposely reveal bits and pieces of what they claimed to know everything?

Or are this two men try to buy time to get the highest bidder for personal benefits given the fact that Anwar is desperate to sit at Putrajaya and is willing to pay any amount to get it?

The fact is when both the men have been seen with PKR leaders and their lawyers are PKR members, shouldn't anyone question whether both men are truly credible without ulterior motive, honestly impartial and independent and non-partisan in their statements?

All these questions should be asked by the public before taking both their words as true.

The relevant government agencies should get the two men to tell everything so that the truth will prevail before they continue to play another drama of ‘I will tell further in next press conferences or in the court’

Who is to know when the case will be heard?

In the case of Deepak, he has failed a lawsuit to sue Dato Najib for an alleged disparaging comment about him and claimed he will reveal all in court.

Before he could do that, the court will have to determine through the exchanges of Affidavit between the two lawyers whether there is any basis for the lawsuit. Otherwise any Tangarajah Deepak or Hanuman will want to bring anybody and everybody to court to be sued.

On PI Bala, his words will have no value in court.

In a court of law, when someone made a Statutory Declaration (SD) and found to be untrue, he or she could be charged for perjury.

And, if he or she made an SD and then do another SD to refute the previous SD, he can be off the hook from possibility of being charge for perjury. But, wouldn't the court view the man as inconsistent, unreliable, and questionable?

It would only make his words and statements as not worthy of consideration in a court of law. Unless he explain why he changed his SD and his explanation must be believable, he is a liar.

The court can also not take into consideration the words and allegations of Deepak against Dato Najib or Datin Rosmah, if he is shown to have a motive of ill-intention.

The man is in financial trouble. His problems will ruin his family business that was painstakingly built by his father.

He has been heard to be throwing Najib and Rosmah names around town to hustle for projects and shares from unsuspecting businessmen and authorities fell for it without the accessibility to check up on him.

Ignore the fact that he is looking pious with a nandek on his forehead, kept mentioning of his many trips to temples to pray and only now talking of conscience. Don't get swayed by such superficial claims.

Can such a man be willing to do anything to get out of his mess? Yes and perhaps no, if he is a man with conscience. Is Deepak a man of conscience?

He claimed Raja Petra asked to be paid RM50,000 as though he was being blackmailed.

Let's look at it in another way. Could he have paid Raja Petra RM50,000 to write something in Malaysia Today and make him to be highly connected and  larger than life?

Malaysians, including unsuspecting and overzealous businessmen can fall for it and willingly cut deal and invite him in on their business deals. If it is true, some will say he is a smart and crafty an but is he a man with conscience?

That bring us up on whether Deepak have been honest in his allegations on Raja Ropiaah. Thus far, it is only Deepak and the ever lying so-called Stategic Director of PKR, Rafizi Ramli that is talking.

Rafizi twisted some facts and made an allegation against Defense Minister, Dato Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. He is filing a lawsuit  for the wrongful accusation on the Raja Ropiaah related project, Prohanas.

It brings up the question of why is Deepak talking in sync with Rafizi, someone with a reputation of lying  and facing few lawsuits and many other lawsuits awaiting. At one time, he refuted Rafizi for claiming the book The Black Rose was his.

Raja Ropiaah is not talking thus one can suspect and view her as guilty by silence. Do consider that tiny possibility that she is waiting for the right time to talk. Most UMNO politicians do that.

One thing is clear is Deepak did tell the world that he filed 4 lawsuit against Raja Ropiaah and already lost 3 cases.

Deepak also did not tell that his problem with Raja Ropiaah was attributed to the sabotage by the Selangor government on design approval and land matters. Even Rafizi is not giving the full picture.

All these issue and allegations of business misconduct and murder is being politicised in the public gallery when the best place to determine it is the courts.

Sometimes the guilty ones get away in court and the innocent ones get victimised but at least, the probability is significantly higher for the guilty ones to get away than the innocent one punished.

At least in court, the facts are being presented, the theatrics omitted and psychological reactions of witnesses and the accused under questioning can be seen. The court will the ultimate decision-maker but at least the interested Malaysian public can form their own opinion on the credibility of the two men.

That will determine the credibility of the oppositions particularly Anwar.

Given the gravity of the matter, AG’s Chamber, MACC and the police should by now be more concerned and get to the bottom of the case so that Malaysians know the truth and not being duped by the theatrics of the Bala, Deepak and the oppositions.

Sulu salami tactic?

Given the complexities of the situation, it needs a cool head and a well calculated decision. Rockybru is right to support Hishamuddin's Malaysian non-violent here.

Only problem is his corporate communication team stinks under this crisis situation. Perhaps, his press secretary tidor or got an attitude.

Phillipines asked for an extension on Wednesday. The intruders insist to not return.

Hmmm.... boy, do we smell a salami. Meaning Salami tactic.

Just make sure it is kosher, please!

There are those in the public and in the political circle, in and outside UMNO clamoring for Dato Hishamuddin Hussein Onn's head.

He is being blamed for being indecisive or too afraid to act. While undergoing follow-up medical check-up, our Johorean specialist doctor complained that Hishamuddin is passing the buck to Defense Minister, Dato Dr Zahid Hamidi and Foreign Minister, Dato Anifah Aman.

Making a decision requires taking an action. Before the action to go after the intruders, all including opposition will support. As one former police high official said, the public and all will support now but when there is body bags and hundreds of them around, all will change their mind.

 ULTIMATUM IN SABAH
PH asks KL to extend deadline
By Marlon Ramos, Michael Lim Ubac, Tarra Quismundo
Philippine Daily Inquirer
5:07 pm | Wednesday, February 27th, 2013

Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines has asked Malaysia to extend by “several days” the grace period it has given to armed followers of the sultan of Sulu to leave Sabah peacefully.

Malaysian security forces were set to end the standoff on Wednesday as the group ignored last-minute attempts by Malaysian and Philippine authorities to get them to leave the village of Tanduao in Lahad Datu town peacefully and return to Sulu.

The group, led by Agbimuddin Kiram, a brother of Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, remained defiant and had rejected the latest request by President Aquino and Malaysia’s emissaries, although three deadlines given to them were extended, with the last ending on midnight Wednesday.

There were reports that military troops had replaced the police forces encircling Tanduao, but the fresh Philippine request for an extension of the grace period may have delayed action to round up the sultan’s followers.

President Aquino appealed to Jamalul on Tuesday to order his followers home or “face the full force of the law.”

Aquino reminded Jamalul that under the Constitution, the Philippines renounced war as a policy to assert territorial claims.

The President said he had ordered a study of the Philippine claim to Sabah.

On Wednesday Jamalul told reporters that he was thankful about the presidential order to study the Sabah claim, but resentful of the threat thrown at him.

“What crime did I commit?” he asked.

“I did not order my brother to go to Sabah. It’s their own free will to go there and to settle down there, believing that the area is part of their homeland,” he said.

The Malaysian Insider's reported today here that the Lahad Datu intruders (not invaders la ...) refused to surrender. This is MI one is talking off  ... it could be true or false or just a spin. Hope this is not a tactic to protract the situation.

It reminds of a scene from our favourite British sitcom, Yes Prime Minister from the episode, The Grand Design. Prime Minister Hacker was discussing with the pro-conventional warfare Science Adviser and anti-Trident purchase.

See below:

Hacker is funny when he is worried and indecisive. Funny eh?

Read back our last posting on "Lahad Datu, Sabah oil, and American interest" that was being jeered as a convoluted mind, hallucination and Frederick Forsyth fiction. To be equated with Frederick Forsyth ... that's a compliment.

Our source in Lahad Datu saying everything is under control. There is nothing to be worried off. Courageous of him to say that.

If one understand the big picture, possible under current, and implication, it is worrisome. And it is not funny.

Hishamuddin is good at doing a lot of back channel and behind the scene work. He understands the working of government, diplomacy and negotiating. Those sort of work can be said openly.

Perhaps, he should look towards going to Johor to be Menteri Besar. Let's not be too predictable. It might not be a step backward but four step backward.

Johor could use his skill and experiance.

Three generations in his family was Menteri Besar. Two became UMNO YDP/President. By him returning to Johor, he will continue as the fourth in the family lineage to be Menteri Besar.

13 died, 4 injured to quench devil-incarnate Anwar's thirst for power

How much more should be deceived and sacrificed?

Just as we finished our posting "Sulu salami tactic" this morning, reports came out flashing that our security forces reece party faced a mortar ambush from the intruders side.

Unlike what was reported by the warmonger and messengers of false hood, our side did not attacked them because we wish to avoid blood shed. We were attacked and not the other way around.

There had been casualty on our side and also the so-called royal Sulu Sultanate army. Al fatihah to all of these lost Muslim soul. But frankly, their death was unnecessary.

Our immediate thought is how much more souls have to be sacrificed and millions deceived to quench this devil-incarnate Anwar's thirst for power before public sanity will be regained?

If we are seen as bias and our previous postings because some asshole politicians like Tian Chua and Lt General (R) Abdul Ghafir accused UMNO for the Lahad Datu intrusion and Sauk and Jenalik arms heist that caused the life of Malaysians, why is another Phillipines report accusing Anwar as responsible and one of the a party of three responsible for this incident?

The report as follows:

Gov’t intel eyes 3 groups abetting Sulu sultan’s claim
By Nikko Dizon
Philippine Daily Inquirer
1:29 am | Friday, March 1st, 2013

Whether the heirs of the sultanate of Sulu acted on their own to reclaim Sabah or were instigated by an external force to do so, one thing is certain, according to government intelligence sources: It was a business that proved too big for the heirs to handle on their own.

The sources said that the Philippine government’s policy on Sabah is to keep it in the back burner.

But apparently “some people” want to push it forward now. And why now, at this time, is one of the questions government intelligence is looking into.

The sources consistently mentioned three groups that appear to have taken advantage of the decision of the Kirams to pursue their Sabah claim.

“These are groups that wanted to ride on the Kirams’ pursuit with their own interests in mind,” one of the sources said.

Another source added: “There are a lot who can gain from this, not just in the Philippines but in Malaysia as well.”

These “external factors,” as an Inquirer source described the groups, are one small faction that is in it for the money, an anti-Aquino administration group, and the Malaysian political opposition.

“The Kirams planned to pursue their claim as early as last year. But they went to Lahad Datu also on the instigation of these groups,” the intelligence officer said.

The small group supposedly goaded the Kirams to ask Malaysia for a higher rent on Sabah. If Malaysia gives in, this small group would allegedly have a share of the increase.

The anti-administration group simply wants to discredit President Aquino and is using the peace process as a cause of disenchantment for the Kirams.

“All those who do not like P-Noy (the President’s nickname) have joined forces. This is one way to really test how this administration will react (to such an issue). Whatever happens in Malaysia, there will be a backlash on us,” one source said.

“In a way, whoever wants to disrupt the peace process or the gains of President Aquino has already won,” the source added.

The third group is allegedly the Malaysian political opposition, which is gearing up for general elections that may be called before June.

The intelligence officer said that one member of the Malaysian political opposition allied with Anwar Ibrahim was running for a post in Sabah.
“Apparently, this politician was one of those who spoke with the Kirams. He supposedly gave the opposition’s support to the Kirams’ claim to Sabah,” the source said.

November meeting

The source also believed that in their meeting in November last year, the Kirams decided to “reclaim Sabah or at least ask for a compensation for Sabah that is commensurate to the land’s value today, and for the royal family to be given due recognition by Malaysia.”

But it is being Tausug that is keeping Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, his family, and their subjects stubbornly pressing their renewed claim to Sabah, even to the extent of defying President Aquino, one of the Inquirer sources said.

“This is the last stand of Sultan Jamalul. Being Tausug, they already gave their word they would pursue their claim. This is now do or die for them just to keep their word of honor,” the source, a senior military officer, told the Inquirer.

But for another security administrator analyzing the events of the past three weeks, the Kirams appear to be quite edgy of late.

“They are confused. The government is hopeful that we can buy more time, find a diplomatic way out,” the source said, referring to the government’s efforts to help settle the standoff between Malaysian security forces and an armed group led by Jamalul’s brother, Agbimuddin Kiram, in Tanduao village in Lahad Datu town now in its third week.

Kiram unity

The Inquirer’s sources are from the diplomatic and defense establishments. They asked not to be named as they were not authorized to speak to journalists about their analysis of developments in the so-called journey home to Sabah of the Kirams.

The source said the Kirams decided to unite because they felt left out of the peace negotiations between the Aquino administration and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, which signed a premilinary peace deal last October.

Calling gov’t attention

“The Kirams wanted to get the attention of the Philippine government,” the source said.

“For so many years, the family felt they have been exploited in politics. Sultan Jamalul was goaded to run for senator in 2010 but he lost. Then their letter to President Aquino (in 2010 before he assumed office) got lost,” the source said.

The source said the Kirams and their followers “conceived the details of the plan to go to Lahad Datu” in late January this year.

“In February, a small group of the Kirams’ followers left for Lahad Datu, followed by Raja Muda Agbimuddin,” the source said.

The estimated 70 firearms now in the hands of the group holed up in Tanduao are owned by residents in Lahad Datu, Tausug and Badjao holding Malaysian identification cards, the source said.

Malaysian security forces have encircled Agbimuddin’s group but are holding action, with the grace period for the group to leave having been extended three times and a fourth being requested by the Philippine government.

Malaysians careful

The Inquirer’s military source said the impasse continues because the Malaysians are extra careful in dealing with Agbimmudin’s group.

“They are all Muslims and they know that if there is violence, it would go on forever. There are 800,000 Filipinos in Sabah. It would be a huge problem in Sabah if violence erupts. The Malaysian security forces may end up dealing with guerrillas or a rido,” the source said, using a Muslim term for clan war.
Is this why Tian Chua have to quickly deflect and as always quickly without thinking further blame it on UMNO?

As on many occasions, Anwar is quick with his blame on others, particularly UMNO and not taking responsibilities for his actions. Is that the irresponsible leader that many Malaysian fell head over heal with?

He is known to be close with the Phillipines government, Nur Misuari and now the report have informed that he made contact with the Sulu Sultanate.

In fact, he was always that busy body wishing to to know everyone making headlines in the world without pondering a moment the implication. He is reaching out to everybody foe and foe and that could perhaps be the reason why ABIM has an outfit called ABIM Out Reach.

Why would the Pinoy would want to collaborate with UMNO?

Any intelligence outfit do not mince their words. Information is information, be it about friends or foe or one of their own. They are not the one to do anything about the information but the superior.

This despicable PKR politics have no bound in lying, collaborating with traitors, corrupts and incompetents,  and sacrificing lives to meet their quest for power.

Pinoy have no interest on the outcome of the upcoming Malaysian general election, thus on what reason do they wish to support UMNO.

Given the fact that Anwar is personally close with former President Estrada and Corazon Aquino, if there is any motive on the government of Philipines to work with any particular party, for the Phillipines Presidents would private at an individual level help Anwar.

Allahyarham Inspector Zulkifli bin Mamat with his family

Thus far, there had been four death and two casualities from our side:
1. Insp G/17992 Zulkifli bin Mamat (death)
2. Kpl 113088 Sabaruddin bin Daud (death)
3. Kpl 135383 Azman bin Ampong (death)
4. Kpl 152133 Mohd Tarmizi bin Hashim (injured hand and feet at the Lahad Datu Hospital)5. Kpl 176533 Mohd Qaiyum'aiqal bin Zolkifli (injured right shoulder and both feet at Sandakan Hospital)

Let's not call them terrorist but intruders. There is 10 deaths, 4 injured and 4 held.

May Allah bless all these souls.

Do ponder as we gaze at the eyes of the two children who has lost their father and their mother who has lost a husband, how much more lives are we willing to sacrifice to play to Anwar Ibrahim's quest for power?

As it is, I Files [see here] made more revelation on the RM3 billion war chest that Anwar have allegedly plundered from Petronas with help from his MCKK friends. Yet, some of us are so naive to not be able to realise and allow him to continue in his elements.

And, some former army and police superiors could betray their friends despite the knowledge on what actually happened. Where do their conscience lies to betray on their fellow comrades?

Not to mention, the lies, the blame, the wild accusation, the spin and the deception he has done to play on the emotion on the innocent Malaysians..

White flag trap and now two cops shot at!

The casualty at Kampung Tandou Lahad Datu did not arise from a from an attack by our forces or a mortar ambush by the so-called Royal Sulu army (Sulu intruders). It was an act of cowardice on their part to trap our forces with a white flag to mean surrender but just as they were casually approaching them, they were ambushed.

Before debunking further more lies by the oppositions, their brainless social media cybertroopers and their media towards our security forces, there is a report of another shoot-out. Police was attack at Kg Seminul, Semporna, a neighbouring district of Lahad Datu. Thus far, the official position is that it is not related to the Lahad Datu incident.

Hopefully, immediate and proper news are released from the operation centre. Not all and off course, not the security sensitive information, but none of this "we are in control of the situation" but still not resolved.

Don't they get it yet?

Proper communication is a key element in any crisis management. The necessary information is needed to bring confidence to the public that our securities people are handling the matter. Nahi nahi ni dah tak main lah sekarang.

None of this attitude to hope news dies off unanswered or trying to play down news. In this IT age, there are gadgets to help to monitor and remind us. It is an old school attitude ...

Sabah police chief: Two cops shot in shootout with gunmen in Kg Simunul

LAHAD DATU: Two policemen were shot and injured during a shootout with gunmen at Kg Simunul island at 7pm on Saturday.

Sabah police chief Datuk Hamzah Taib said late Saturday that a team of policeman had gone to the island in search of several personalities' following reports that they were in possession of firearms.

“The policemen entered the village and were walking on the stilt boardwalk when they were fired upon and two of our men were injured,” Hamzah said as fear gripped people in Sempoorna and Tawau that a group of gunmen had attacked security forces.

Hamzah said that follow-up operations are ongoing.

“For now, we believe it is unrelated to the situation in Lahad Datu,” he said.

He denied that any police station had been attacked.

The situation is tense in the east coast of Sabah after Malaysian security forces clashed with Sulu gunmen near Lahad Datu on Friday, leaving two police commandos and 12 gunmen dead.

Will be updating more information.

Amid ultimatum, cops drop leaflets urging Pinoys in Sabah standoff to surrender

March 2, 2013 9:09pm

Amid an ultimatum from Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to surrender or face the consequences, Malaysian police on Saturday dropped leaflets from a helicopter telling Filipinos still holed up in Sabah to surrender.

State-run Bernama news agency quoted Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib as saying the leaflets bore messages in English and Suluk.

"Warning. Lay down your arms. Surrender. Surrender. Surrender," the message read, according to the Bernama report.

Earlier, Najib said the time to consider the demands by the followers of Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III had lapsed.

Najib said the armed intrusion into Malaysia and the killing of two security forces personnel and injuring of three more was a "serious crime."

He said he called up Philippine President Benigno Aquino III Friday night to "state the stand of the Malaysian government on the matter."

"I said the government felt that the time to consider the group's demands had lapsed, and that they had the option of surrendering or facing the action of the authorities and security forces," he said.

Aquino on Saturday issued a statement telling the Filipinos in Sabah to surrender without conditions.

Najib also disclosed the Filipinos used a white flag as a ruse to open fire on Malaysian police commandos Friday.

"The two slain commandos had seen the white flag and did not think that there would be other intruders waiting to open fire on them," he said.

Najib said he is not discounting the possibility the white flag was a "trap by the intruders," adding that if it was the case, it was "an act of cowards."

For his part, Hamza said the police were collaborating with the army to resolve the matter.

But he advised people not to speculate on the number of security forces' personnel killed or injured in the gun battle, adding no curfew had been imposed in the area.

"I have to make this clear because there have been announcements of a curfew in social websites and blogs. I am in charge of issuing the order for a curfew, but I have not issued any order following yesterday's incident," he said.

On Friday, "10 to 12" Filipinos were killed along with two Malaysian police personnel during the gun battle that followed a standoff that lasted almost three weeks.

Malaysia said its police had cordoned off the armed Filipino on Feb. 12, after they arrived there and laid claim to Sabah.

In Lahad Datu, Bernama reported many business premises remained closed Saturday, with only few shops and restaurants open for business.

Bernama said few people were in the town even though it was the weekend, and there were fewer vehicles than normal on the roads.

A separate report on Malaysia's The Star online quoted Sulu Sultanate spokesman Abraham Idjirani as saying the Filipinos in Sabah will maintain their position but want a peaceful resolution.

It quoted Idjirani as saying Sultan Kiram wanted to discuss the issue of their supposed territorial claim to Sabah.

"We will sit down and plan it out, he is still hopeful for peaceful negotiations," he said.

He added the sultan's brother Raja Muda Azzimudie Kiram, the leader of the group, is "alive and well."

But Idjirani said he had not been in contact with Azzimudie since Friday's battle. The Star online said it made "numerous calls" to Raja Muda but failed to get to him.

Idjirani also said he knew nothing about Najib's discussion with President Aquino. "We are not aware of this," he said. — LBG, GMA News

But, why did Manilla was reported to have formed a legal team to look into their claims on Sabah? Is this a smokescreen?.

Border problem

Our side have been trying to avoid bloodshed. If one have never been to Lahad Datu, they should understand that there are a community of Sulus in Lahad Datu. They are considered as indigenous people of the areas and have been traditionally incoming and out going from Lahad Datu.

Do not be surprise that the Sulu armed intruders could possess Malaysian ICs.

An extract of our comment here, below:
Kwn2, allow me a moment of indulgence to clear the foul stench of stupidity amongst the malaysians.

Kes kat LD is nothing new to us sbhns, in the 90s they abruptly came to the shore at Semporna and immediately bombed the police stations, and went amuck at the town.

They are smart people, some left at the sea naik dr kwsn bakau and lived 4 6 mth b4 start to mingle with locals and married them.

The tausugs in LD now didn't came all at once, instead they came in batches, with inside helping frm their family at the village.

Trust me they have been there at least 2 3 mth b4 the group bcomes complete, then they decide its time to wage war.

Klu tak paham rules of engagement, jgnlah menunjuk pandai ckp bukan2 kata kerajaan lemau, ada hati nak banding dgn bersih.

Polis kene masuk dulu sbb dorgtrained as negotiators, tentera is the last resort as they will not spare anyone once commanded.

They need time to ensure all the locals are out of the village and then cut their food and finance sources, hoping the tausugs will surrender.

That is our rules of engagement. We are not barbaric stoic like the american soldiers.

If further question is posed on the problem of our 'porous' sea in Sabah, then do ask PKR's former ATM, Lt General (R) Dato Abdul Ghaffir bin Abdul Hamid and PAS's former TLDM First Admiral, Tuan Haji Imran, who was second in command in the army for 2000-05 and Second Admiral in the Navy .

They were involved in the Ops Pasir with regard to secure our Sabah borders. Were they competent in their duties to cover-up the loopholes in our border? Or was it given to Nur Misuari and this faction claiming to be Sulu Sultan to exploit?

There are those that questioned as to why it has to be police and not military in charge. An extract from this high traffic Malay blog, Gerakan Anti PKR here, below:

Ianya seperti darurat waktu ribut banjir New Orleans dahulu- tentera USA ambil alih bukan lagi polis tempatan)

Menurut langkah satu persatu?
What else?

If one has no idea of who and what is VAT69, you don't know history and should have done your research before questioning why allow police to handle first and not the army.

The answer to several other issues raised and hurled by the public and rudely expressed by opposition cybertroopers on the intrusion by the so-called Royal Army of Sulu was addressed in yesterday's posting [read here]. Strange that some opposition members support Sulu Sultanate claim on Sabah.

There is an excellent posting done with academic references by blog Andak Jauhar. The posting is in Malay, so those Malaysians can go and read it here.

For the rest, including Malaysian incapable of reading the national language because there are those that secured their citizenship by corrupting NRD officers as revealed in the Sabah RCI and use political pressure through demonstrations despite do not qualify, there will be a translated English version.

Our word to those propagandist and opposition cybertroopers working on over time to ridicule our boys that is defending the country against intruders. Don't just shoot your fuc&!^g @$$  mouth and think your arguments make sense and are smart.

They are not. So, get your fuc&!^g facts right first!

1.Whoare the Intruders?

The group that invaded claimed themselves as the army to the Sultanate of Sulu(The RoyalSuluSultanateArmy)1 came from SouthernPhilippinesandconsist of an estimated 200-400people,with20-100of them armed2.

The group is ledby one claiming to be Raja MudaAgbimuddinKiram, the younger brother ofthe claimed former SultanJamalulKiramIIIandthe SultanIsmaelKiramII3,4.JamalulKiramIII ran for the officeof Senatopr in the Phillipines election.

2. Does the Intruding Grouprepresent the Sulu Sultanate?

5. Can Malaysia makeclaimsagainst territoryof Philippinesifthe Sulu Sultanate make Sabahas it's administration centre?

6.Areparty/ies in Malaysia supporting the SuluSultanate claim onSabah?

Therepresentative of theManilaTimesinMindanao, Al Jacinto, reported that the intrusions by Royal Army of Sultanate of Sulu'occurswhenDatukSeriAnwar Ibrahim, the leader ofthe People's Alliance, suggested thatSabahwas given powerof autonomy.6

manila
TheManilaTimesreported thatintrusion by the Sulu Sultanate army occured after Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahimsuggested thatSabahbe givenautonomy.

ABS-CBNNews reportedthat theintruderhad beeninvitedbya member of theopposition:

A Philippine military officer interviewed by Reuters also said the men were followers of the heirs of the Sultan of Sulu – an island group off the southern Philippines – who had been invited to Sabah by a Malaysian opposition politician to discuss land issues.7
abs
ABS-CBN News melaporkan seorang pegawai tentera Filipina memberitahu Reuters bahawa kumpulan penceroboh telah diundang seorang ahli politik pembangkang.

The Star reported that when Anwar Ibrahim was asked whether the report thatoppositiongroupinvitedintrudersinto Sabahistrue, his reply was:
Who is the one who gave it?8
7.Did Malaysia pay rent to Philippines for Sabah?

No.

Malaysiapays only 'cessionmoney' of USD5, 000 peryearto theheirs of the Sultanof Sulu. The 'cession money'is the cession paymentand not payment of rent.

Other than Sabah, there are other regionsin the worldthat paid cessation fee. For example:
  1. Louisiana wasceded to theUnited Statesby France for a sum ofUSD15million, orapproximatelyUSD0.03per acre.
  2. Alaska was ceded to the United States ,cededbyRussiato theUnited Stateswithpayment ofUSD7.2million, orUSD0.02per acre.
8.What territory do the Sulu Sultanate have right to?

Royal House ofSulu9, the official website of MuedzulLailTanKiram, claimed thatthe territories in which the Sulu Sultanate have rights over include Jolo, Palawan, ZamboangaPeninsula, BasilanandTawi-Tawiin the Philippines, as well as SabahandBalambanganIslandinMalaysia. They claimed the Sulu Sultanate have rights over the SpratlyIslands.

Jolo, BasilanandTawi-Tawi is currently under the administrative region ofthe Philippinescalled Autonomous Regionin MuslimMindanao (ARMM). The proposal was to place the new autonomous region of ARMM under the Bangsamoro.

9. DoesPhillipines recognise the Sulu Sultanate?

No.

The last timethe Philippine governmentrecognised theSultanof Suluwas onMay 24, 1974. It was  when thethen President of the Philippines, FerdinandMarcos, issued a MemorandumOrder No.427 to install Mohd. MahakuttahA.KiramasSultan.

427
MemorandumOrder No.427is thelastevidence from the Philippine government that recognisethe Sulu Sultanate. There is nomemorandumissuedtoany individualwho claims to'sultan'afterwards.Philippinesdoes not recognizethe Sultanate of Sulubutneverclaim the territories that supposedlyremain as theSultanate of Sulu.

Sincethe death of SultanMohd. MahakuttahA.Kiram, the Philippine government did not recognize anyindividualas theSultanof Sulu.

10. Does it imply that Philippines is manipulating the Sulu Sultanate to claim Sabah?

Philippines reportedly has started 'Operation Merdeka' in 1967, a military operation to train troops and commandos of the Tausug and Sama ethnic Muslim to create instability and chaos in Sabah. However, as soon as it was known that the operation was to fight against a government led by Muslims, ethnic Tausug and Sama trainees demanded to return. However, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) had allegedly shot and killed the trainees. It was reported that 11 to 64 people were shot dead. This incident is known as the Massacre of Jabidah) or Corregidor Massacre.

William Larousse10, Michael Leifer11, Andrew T. H. Tan12 and Alfred W. McCoy13 are among the authors that wrote of this incident.

11. What is the chances of the Philippines claim on Sabah should the case be brought to the International Court of Justice (ICJ)?

Slim.

First, the heirs of the Sultan of Sulu received 'cession money' until today. This means that the heirs of the Sultan of Sulu acknowledge that Sabah was ceded rather than leased to the British North Borneo Company.

Second, the Philippine government stopped recognizing the Sultan of Sulu since the death of Sultan Mohd. Mahakuttah A. Kiram in 1986.

Grant of a lease that become a source of conflict has been signed by the Sultan of Sulu, Sultan Jamalul that was drawn up by Gustavus Baron de Overbeck and Alfred Dent, representing the British North Borneo Company, on January 22, 1878.

Third, grant leases signed between the British North Borneo Company and the Sultanate of Sulu was overruled by the Madrid Protocol of 1885.Spain, which controls the provinces of Sulu Sultanate of the time, had signed an agreement with Germany and Great Britain on March 7, 1885 for the release of all claims against the sovereignty of Sabah:
Article 3
The Spanish Government relinquishes as far as regards the British Government, all claim of sovereignty over the territories of the continent of Borneo which belong, or which have belonged in the past, to the Sultan of Sulu (Jolo), including therein the neighboring islands of Balambangan, Banguey and Malawali, as well as all those islands lying within a zone of three marine leagues along the coasts and which form part of the territories administered by the Company styled the ‘British North Borneo Company’.
Fourth, the Sulu Sultanate is considered to have been terminated as soon as the Sultan Jamalul Kiram II signed Carpenter Agreement on March 22, 1915 in which he surrendered all his political power to the United States.

Fifth, the Malaysian government have taken the responsibility to develop the infrastructure for the benefit of the people of Sabah since 1963 without any opposition from the Sulu Sultanate and Government of Philippines. This proves for the peaceful possession and continuous administration by the Government of Malaysia on Sabah.

According to the principle of "Effectivites" that will be taken account by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Malaysia will be awarded Sabah based on the similar principle in the case of Malaysia's successful claim over the Islands of Sipadan and Ligitan.

Sixth, the Cobbold Commission report issued on 1 August 1962 found that 1/3 the people of Sabah and Sarawak strongly support the formation of Malaysia, 1/3 also support the rights of Malaysia provided their rights are protected, while the remaining 1/3 was divided between wanting independence and  continue under British administration.

Seventh, the UN Secretary General, U Thant reported in 1963 that the people of Sabah "wish to bring their dependent status to an end and to realise their independence through freely chosen association with other peoples in their region”15.

Eighth, if the Sulu Sultanate claimed that Sabah belong to them, then it is to be consistent for the Sulu Sultanate to not only make a claim on Sabah but also claim and control their own administrative centers in Jolo, Palawan province apart from reclaiming the provinces they claim as their of Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan and Tawi-Tawi from the  Philippines.

However, the Sultanate of Sulu does not have any political power over the provinces located in the Philippines.

More to come on Phillipines claim on Sabah.

Denial and lawsuit to avoid answering [Up-dated]

Anwar Ibrahim filed a lawsuit against who else, Utusan Malaysia and TV3. One can read on elsewhere for the news detail.

Reuters was the one that reported a Malaysian opposition politician had invited heirs of the Sultan of Sulu to Sabah to discuss land issues. All eyes were looking at Anwar and he denied involvement. [Read our past posting here.

Newspapers and news portal reported undisclosed sources telling the intruders were promised land in Sabah. This was used by the opposition to accuse the person making that promise to be Najib.

The Harakah is one, see below:

Another is by Sabahkini writer, Mutallib MD here

So what if a collaboprator is an UMNO Branch Chief? Wrong is wrong, why politicise national security?

Typical of political book writer with their narrow and myopic view.

It has to be Anwar

Whatever it is the 'diversions', we see it to be Anwar.

Our PKR friend called this afternoon to refute it as Anwar Ibrahim because there are other opposition leaders.

Fine ...

But anyone with sufficient understanding of politics will discount Dato Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, Dato Nik Aziz Nik Mat, Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng out-reaching themselves to get involve into such area.

Out-reaching ... doesn't it remind of ABIM Outreach? Anwar has a habit of out-reaching and trying to be friendly with everybody who is in world news without thinking of the implication and impact to the interrest of the nation, ummah and Melayu. He wants to befriend them for future favours.

Back to why it has to be Anwar.

PAS has minimal interest in Sabah and too myopic to see beyond the compound of a madrasah. DAP is not interested in areas with no Chinese interest.

It lead to only two leaders with interest and history on Sabah and the Southern Phillipines.

Without having to go at length on this, let's cut through the chase.

It cannot be anyone but only two former collaborators; PKR leader, Anwar and STAR leader, Dato Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.

Jeffrey had and still struggling to take Sabah out of Malaysia and was held under ISA for it before.

Anwar is the power crazy manic whose pursuit to be Prime Minister has no limit to the extend he is willing to do. It includes working with American interest and allowing Sabah to secede.

Our PKR friend may not have enough background information as oppose to our deep interest in Sabah for the past 15 years. In the past 6 months, we've made more than half a dozen fact finding and field trips to Sabah.

It is one of our two favourite states for R&R. The other used to be Penang.

Thus far, Jeffrey has acknowledged to meeting the fale Sultan Jamaluil Kiram III in early July 2012. Naturally, he denied involvement.

However, Anwar has not commented on the picture of himself and MNLF leader, Nur Misuari.

In the meanwhile, more reports emanating from the Phillipines are getting less subtle and more direct in pointing their finger towards Anwar.

See few below:

Manilla Times viewed that it was Anwar's offer of autonomy that attract the intrusion.

The Inquirer's new was focused on the specific phrase of:

It could be Jeffrey who used to be in PKR Sabah before he clash with Anwar and have problems not being the leader of a political party.

When asked as to why Anwar did not sue Inquirer News, he said it did not accuse him as conspirator.

How will he answer why he did not sue ABN News of Phillipines below:

ABC News is closely pointing their finger at Anwar as the conspirator. Read the report below:
MANILA: A Malaysian Opposition politician allied with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is believed to have met with the Sulu Sultan late last year and gave the Opposition’s support to the Kirams’ claim to Sabah, a Philippine intelligence source revealed.

In a special report by the Philippine Inquirer, the intelligence officer said that one member of the Malaysian political opposition allied with Anwar Ibrahim was running for a post in Sabah.

“Apparently, this politician was one of those who spoke with the Kirams. He supposedly gave the Opposition’s support to the Kirams’ claim to Sabah,” the source said.

The source also believed that in their meeting in November last year, the Kirams decided to “reclaim Sabah or at least ask for a compensation for Sabah that is commensurate to the land’s value today, and for the royal family to be given due recognition by Malaysia.”
According to the Philippine Inquirer, the intelligence sources consistently mentioned three groups that appear to have taken advantage of the decision of the Kirams to pursue their Sabah claim.

Whether the heirs of the sultanate of Sulu acted on their own to reclaim Sabah or were instigated by an external force to do so, one thing is certain, according to government intelligence sources: It was a business that proved too big for the heirs to handle on their own, the Philippine Inquirer reported.

The sources said that the Philippine government’s policy on Sabah is to keep it in the back burner.

But apparently “some people” want to push it forward now. And why now, at this time, is one of the questions government intelligence is looking into.

It is being Tausug that is keeping Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, his family, and their subjects stubbornly pressing their renewed claim to Sabah, even to the extent of defying President Aquino, one of the Inquirer sources said.

“This is the last stand of Sultan Jamalul. Being Tausug, they already gave their word they would pursue their claim. This is now do or die for them just to keep their word of honour,” the source, a senior military officer, told the Inquirer.

The source said the Kirams decided to unite because they felt left out of the peace negotiations between the Aquino administration and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, which signed a premilinary peace deal last October.

- http://newsinfo.inquirer.net

Jeffrey has acknowledged meeting the fake Sultan of Sulu, Jamalul Kiram III. Anwar has not acknowledged or explained his meeting with Nur Misuari. He was also abrasive to questions from the press during his press conference. See below:

It is very similar to his reactions to questions on his missing Omega watch and identity of person with the China doll in the video that is unmistably him.

UPDATED

There are more questions for Anwar. Nur Misuari has defended the intruders, warned Malaysia from taking actions and acknowledged that some of the intruders are his men.

The blog Ground Zero Sabah [read here] that we linked to in the posting Lahad Datu, Sabah oil and American interest asked this question below:

Is that why Tian Chua tried to create deviation? He is involved!!!???

Jeffrey was with Anwar in PKR before leaving to form STAR.

The link to Anwar are getting clearer.
